  • Patent number: 5993727
Abstract: A metallurgical vessel cover having integral fume collection provisions is disclosed. There, the fumes or gases are discharged through a shroud, which preferably is connected to an attachable venting duct. The cover also features an internal configuration for reducing heat transfer through the cover.
