  • Patent number: 6095369
Abstract: A coin dispensing apparatus comprised of a plurality of magazines for storing coin rolls, a lifting conveyor having a plurality of hods which are driven by the lifting conveyor and interact with an outlet for each magazine to receive coin rolls therefrom. An optional transporting conveyor is also provided. The transport conveyor has a plurality of hods which are driven by the transport conveyor and which interact with the hods of the lifting conveyor for transfer of coin rolls from the lifting conveyor to the transport conveyor. A dispensing outlet is provided which cooperates with the hods of the lifting conveyor or the transport conveyor to receive coin rolls transported thereto.

  • Patent number: 4666538
Abstract: This concerns apparatus for removing sheets one at a time from a stack using a suction feeder assembly comprising an oscillating shaft on which two suction feeder arms have been mounted so as to communicate through holes in the shaft and through the hollow shaft interior with a suction source. Such assemblies have needed very precise alignment and to reduce the cost of making such an assembly, an integral plastics member (FIG. 5) is moulded on to the shaft, this moulding comprising the two suction arms (12, 13) and a member (14) interconnecting the suction arms with a precise spacing. The moulding further includes two channels (21) for the passage of a drill, allowing holes to be made in the shaft through the suction arm after the moulding. Subsequently, cover plates are welded over the drill channels (21) and nozzle assemblies (4) are fitted to other apertures in the suction arms.

  • Patent number: 4618070
Abstract: A shutter of the type used as a closure for boxes or containers, or for garage doors, includes a series of interconnected elongated strips having at each end of each strip an integral male and female connecting member so that the female connecting members of one strip are capable of interlocking with the male members of an adjacent strip to form the shutter. Each strip also includes an elongated recessed area and a corresponding overlapping portion positioned below the recessed area. When a series of strips are interconnected to form the shutter, the overlapping portion of one strip is received in the recess portion of an adjacent strip. Lastly, each strip includes at least one vertically oriented pair of tongue and groove members positioned intermediate the ends of each strip so that when a series of strips are interconnected to form a shutter, the tongue of one strip is received by the groove of a corresponding strip so as to prevent tampering.

  • Patent number: 4597340
Abstract: A secure container, for example a portable cassette for banknotes, has a shutter at one end movable by a sliding shutter bar (2). The shutter is lockable by the action of a shutter locking bar (8) pivoted at its center between a locking position (as shown in FIG. 1) and a primed position at which the shutter locking bar is parallel to the container walls and its end is aligned with an aperture 2a in the shutter bar (2) allowing the shutter bar to slide within the container and open the shutter. The shutter locking bar (8) is moved to its primed position by a lock (5) with a rotatable lock pin (6) engaging an operating arm (7) coupled to the shutter locking bar (8). An interlock pawl (11) pivotally mounted on a flange of the arm (7) has a catch engaging the lock pin (6), so as to prevent improper priming of the shutter locking bar (8) until the operation of the lock (5).
