    Abstract: Disclosed is a device for sealing an oven chamber of a coking plant, wherein a sealing frame can be placed against an inlet opening of the oven chamber during charging with a coal cake, from which, on oppositely disposed legs, sealing flaps protrude, which can be swiveled inward by the coal cake, the free end edges of the flaps grazing the coal cake.
