    Abstract: The present invention is a method and apparatus for processing incoming calls in a communication system. The system intercepts incoming calls preventing communication with a target device for which the incoming call is intended. The system prompts the initiator of the incoming call to input a unique access code. Upon receiving the unique access code from the initiator of the incoming call, the system passes the incoming call to the target device. When the unique access code is not provided by the initiator of the incoming call, the system prevents the incoming call from reaching the target device.
