  • Patent number: 9377788
Abstract: A flamer may be used to sterilize poultry litter, soil, concrete, etc. The stationary or mobile flamer disclosed comprises a hood to contain the heat, an external frame, and burners. A fuel tank may be carried on the flamer or on a tractor. An additional embodiment provides for mounting the flamer on wheels, permitting the unit to be towed by a truck, four-wheeler, tractor, etc. The burners are adjustable as to angle, and fueling rate. A pressure in the fuel system is controlled by selectively switching between the liquid and vaporous components of the fuel. By limiting how low the pressure may fall, the flow of fuel from the tank to the torches is more consistent.

  • Patent number: 6014835
Abstract: A trailer mounted flame cultivator adapted to be towed by a small vehicle such as a garden tractor or an all-terrain-vehicle (ATV). The wheeled trailer supports a fuel tank and boom arms that carry torch assemblies at their distal ends. Control valves are interposed in the fuel line connecting the fuel tank and the torch assemblies. A control panel mounted on the towing vehicle conveniently accessible to the operator is electrically connected to the control valves. Manipulation of the control panel by the operator selectively activates the torch assemblies.

  • Patent number: 4741323
Abstract: A space heater which is generally rectangular in shape and which has a chamber inside which is generally square in cross section. This square shaped chamber has inlets along the bottom thereof and outlets along the top thereof. An improved burner assembly is disposed centrally on the bottom wall of the chamber housing and includes a vertically extending conduit having an opening in the top thereof. A first square plate is attached to the top of the vertically extending conduit and the first square plate is disposed generally horizontally and has a round opening in the center thereof for allowing a fuel and air mixture to exit therethrough. The first square plate has upwardly extending flanges on each edge thereof for directing flames upwardly and causing the flame to be of the same cross sectional shape as the chamber. A second square plate, smaller than the first square plate, is disposed just above the first square plate and is also horizontally disposed.
