  • Publication number: 20180315025
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to technology adapted to configure computer systems to perform management, and enable streamlined user-configuration, of complex autonomous peer-to-peer transaction frameworks. Embodiments include computer platforms that enable users to self-generate complex group structures that participate in such autonomous peer-to-peer transaction frameworks, and platforms that enable those frameworks to be autonomously managed on an ongoing basis. Examples are described by reference to a particular practical implementation environment for this form of technology, relating to risk management groups (for instance in the context of crowd funded insurance). However, the underlying computing technology finds broader application.

  • Publication number: 20170178439
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to computer implemented frameworks and methodologies configured to provide enhanced security and integrity in electronic voting environments. The inventor has identified a security flaw in certain known voting systems whereby a malicious attacker could arrange for multiple voters who make the same vote selection to be sent the same vote receipt code (with the malicious attacker submitting a fraudulent vote on behalf of an affected user). This flaw is overcome via a technical solution which involves the incorporation of additional user-defined data into a vote receipt.

  • Publication number: 20130160419
Abstract: A crop lifter apparatus is provided that is adapted for attachment to a cutting header. The apparatus can have a guard member having a slot passing through it, a latch member pivotally attached at a first end to the guard member and having an aperture for receiving a guard bolt on the cutting header, the aperture passing through a side edge of the latch member, a ski member operatively attached to the guard member, and a lifting arm attached to the ski member. To attach the crop lifter apparatus to a cutting header, the crop lifter can be positioned on the guard bolt with the guard bolt extending into the slot in the guard member. The latch can then be pivoted so that the aperture in the latch is positioned on the guard bolt or spool. This can attach the crop lifter apparatus securely to the cutting header.
