    Abstract: A veneer tie for connecting together an outer wall and an inner wall spaced-apart from the outer wall and defining a cavity therebetween. The veneer tie includes a screw anchor, including an elongate shaft for penetrating into the inner wall, a head formed on one end of the screw anchor and an opening formed in the head. A pintle adapted for engaging and being carried by the head of the screw anchor is provided, and extends outwardly from the head and bridges the cavity between the outer wall and the inner wall. The pintle has at least one hook for extending through the opening formed in the head for connecting the pintle to the screw anchor.

    Abstract: An apparatus for aiding in the positioning of a reinforcing bar or “rebar” within a core of a masonry block unit includes a mid-section defining at least one substantially confined area for receiving the reinforcing bar therein, and first and second opposed arms extending outward from the midsection. Each of the arms includes a first section extending outward from substantially opposite ends of the mid-section. The first sections of the first and second arms are substantially co-linear and define a center axis of the apparatus. A second section extends at an angle from the first section, and a third section extends at an angle from the second section. A fourth section extends at a substantially acute angle relative to the third section. The third and fourth sections of each of the first and second arms are substantially co-planar relative to each other, and are substantially non-planar relative to the first sections of the arms.

    Abstract: A masonry anchor system is disclosed for anchoring two spaced apart masonry walls together to form a single wall structure. The masonry anchor system includes a ladder or truss type support frame for positioning on top of a mortar joint in one wall, and a connecting bracket having a pair of elongate arms connected by a cross-member affixed to the support frame. The cross-member is curved to provide two spaced apart points on the cross-member for contacting the support frame and affixing the cross-member thereto. The elongate arms extend transversely from the support frame and are sized to extend into the space between the two walls. Each of the arms have an eye portion formed at the end opposite the cross-member to receive a connecting member connected to the second wall. The support frame and the bracket reside in the same horizontal plane.
