  • Publication number: 20100172606
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the production of a roller bearing (5) which does not require machining, wherein the roller bearing (5) has a bearing inner ring and a bearing outer ring (3a?, 3b?) and at least one rolling body row (9) guided between said rings in raceways (8a, 8b). In order to be able to implement the production of the bearing rings (3a?, 3b?) including the raceways (8a, 8b) for the rolling bodies (9) according to a forming method which does not involve machining, in a manner which is more cost-effective with respect to known production methods, a ring element (3) is initially produced from a sheet metal blank (1) by means of dies and pressure forming, the ring element having a section (3a) lying radially on the inside, a ring-shaped section (3b) lying radially on the outside, and having a central recess (4), raceways (8a, 8b), and preferably a set breaking point (6) between the two ring-shaped sections (3a, 3b).

  • Patent number: 7448807
Abstract: A seal for a pulley on a roller bearing includes a sealing cap which covers the front face of the roller bearing and is connected to a hub for externally enclosing the roller bearing. On the opposite side, the roller bearing has a sealing plate, which is likewise fixed to the hub and on the inner side interacts with a cylindrical section of the fixed housing.

  • Publication number: 20070259745
Abstract: The invention relates to a tension system for a traction mechanism, comprising an assembly (6) which is arranged pivotably via a pivot bearing (17a). In this case, the assembly at the same time assumes the function of a tension system for the traction means (2).

  • Publication number: 20070197325
Abstract: A traction mechanism drive, in particular a belt drive, is provided having an integrated generator with a traction mechanism roller which is dosposed on the generator shaft, whereon the traction mechanism is guided and which is mounted in a displaceable manner in order to apply tension to the traction mechanism against a returning force. The traction mechanism roller (4) can be decoupled from the generator shaft (12) via a freewheel (11) in order to dampen peak loading exerted on the operational side.

  • Publication number: 20060188191
Abstract: The present invention relates to a seal for a pulley (1) on a roller bearing. For this purpose a sealing cap (19a), which covers the front face of the roller bearing (2) and is connected to a hub (9), externally enclosing the roller bearing (2), is externally assigned to the roller bearing (2). On the opposite side the roller bearing (2) has a sealing plate (24a), which is likewise fixed to the hub (9) and on the inner side interacts with a cylindrical section (27) of the fixed housing (5).
