  • Patent number: 10279090
Abstract: A breast milk storage system which comprises a mandrel for selective engagement with a bottle connector of a breast pump. The storage system also includes at least one clamp in pivotal engagement with the mandrel, and a lock ring. The lock ring is positioned for rotation about the mandrel and the at least one clamp. Rotation of the lock ring effectuates pivoting of the at least one clamp between an open position and a closed position. In the closed position, the at least one clamp is pivoted with respect to the mandrel and presses against the mandrel so as to retain a storage bag in place by pinching said storage bag between the at least one clamp and the mandrel.

  • Publication number: 20180368596
Abstract: A drink container with convertible spouts is provided. The drink container includes a lid that can be removably coupled to a container body having a volume to hold fluids. The lid can include a rigid spout. A flexible spout can be removably coupled to the lid. When the flexible spout is coupled to the lid, the flexible spout can be positioned to extend through the rigid spout and can be adjustable from an extended configuration, wherein at least a portion of the flexible spout extends above a top end of the rigid spout, to a retracted configuration, wherein all or substantially all of the flexible spout is at or below the top end of the rigid spout. The drink container can also include a spout cap rotatable with respect to the lid, which seals both the rigid spout and the flexible spout when the cap is in a closed configuration.

  • Patent number: 8797527
Abstract: A biological fluid sample analysis cartridge, analysis system, and method for analyzing a biologic fluid sample are provided. The cartridge includes a collection port, at least one channel within the cartridge in fluid communication with the collection port, a passage in fluid communication with the at least one channel, and an analysis chamber mounted on a tray. The tray is mounted relative to the cartridge and selectively positionable relative to the passage in a first position where the analysis chamber will engage a bolus of sample extending out from the passage to permit selective transfer of sample from the bolus to the analysis chamber.

  • Patent number: 5718083
Abstract: A sliding door system includes a pair of sliding doors which ride on J-shaped tracks. A stopper, formed of a block of deformable material, has a J-shaped channel which generally matches the contour of the J-shaped tracks. One presses the stopper onto the inner track, at one of the ends of the track. When the inner door is moved to an extreme position, it abuts the stopper, and cannot reach the door frame. Thus, there is a recess between the door frame and the inner door. The recess makes it easy to move the inner door when it is desired to close the closet. Also, the stopper prevents an indentation, formed on the inner door, from being obscured by the outer door, when the inner door is opened. The stopper is made of an elastomeric material so that it can be easily inserted onto the track, without special tools. Thus, the stopper can be easily retrofitted onto existing tracks for sliding door systems, without modifying such systems.
