  • Patent number: 8253517
Abstract: A full-protection circuit breaker has a line-protection circuit breaker and a residual-current-operated component which can be fitted thereto. A first switching mechanism, located therein, includes a first switching toggle for operation of a first latching mechanism, which is accommodated in the residual-current-operated component. A second switching mechanism, provided in the line-protection circuit breaker, includes a second switching toggle for operation of a second latching mechanism, which is accommodated in the line-protection circuit. The first and the second latching mechanisms are coupled by means of a first coupling element. The first and the second switching toggle are coupled by means of a second coupling element, wherein the second coupling element acts on the first switching toggle with respect to the second switching toggle, pivoting through the predeterminable lead angle in the direction of its connected position.

  • Publication number: 20100247944
Abstract: The invention relates to a metal matrix material made of a hydrogen-permeable metal 1 and a chemically stable metal 2 that is also hydrogen permeable, said matrix material having a structure comprised of a plurality of centers made of the metal 2 surrounded by the metal 1. The invention further relates to a method for the production of said matrix material, having the following steps: a. optionally pretreating the metal 1 and/or 2 b. coating metal 1 with a metal 2 to form a composite metal powder c. pressing the composite metal powder into the metal matrix material according to the invention in the form of a pressed body d. optionally deforming the pressed body thus obtained to form a molded body. The metal matrix material has a greater mechanical stability as compared to a conventionally coated metal film by virtue of a more homogeneous stress distribution during the change in volume of the metal phases as a result of hydrogen absorption and thermal expansion.

  • Patent number: 5571475
Abstract: In a process and an apparatus for the production of liquid metal (4) from fine-grain metal oxide particles, the particles, together with hot reducing gas, are blown against a heated bulk material filter layer (9) of lump coal and/or ceramic pieces, a substantial proportion of the particles being retained on and in the filter layer and subjected to finishing reducing by the reducing gas. A high-temperature flame is produced in front of the filter layer (9) by an oxygen-bearing gas being blown against the filter layer, and the metallised particles which are retained in the filter layer are melted. They pass in the liquid condition through the filter layer (9) into a receiving space (3) for liquid metal (4).
