Abstract: An electronic device includes sensing circuitry coupled to a plurality of force sensors and configured to sense one or more parameters. In some examples, the processing circuitry is coupled to the sensing circuitry and is programmed to combine the one or more parameters sensed at the plurality of electrodes into a combined parameter corresponding to an applied force to a surface of the electronic device and detect force inputs, such as a click event, in accordance with a determination that one or more first criteria are satisfied, the one or more first criteria including a criterion that is satisfied when the combined parameter is at or greater than a first threshold.
