  • Publication number: 20240089173
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for providing traffic visibility in a network. An embodiment operates by a third-party component receiving a copy of a first data packet during a first period of time. The third-party component extracts a first network parameter associated with the first period of time from the copy of the first data packet. The third-party component then predicts a baseline of normalcy for the first network parameter during a second period of time after the first period of time based on data associated with a copy of a second data packet and the first network parameter. Thereafter, the third-party component receives a copy of a third data packet during the second period of time, and extracts a second network parameter from the copy of the third data packet. The third-party component then determines that the second network parameter of the copy of the second data packet is an anomaly based on the baseline of normalcy for the first network parameter.

  • Patent number: 11870649
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for providing traffic visibility in a network. An embodiment operates by a third-party component in communication with a network component—each located at a network's edge—maintaining a rule table including a first rule comprising first identifiers and a first action for deriving a first packet characteristic. The third-party component receives a first packet copy including second identifiers from the network component. Upon the second identifiers matching the first identifiers, the third-party component determines the rule table's second rule includes a second action for deriving a second packet characteristic. Thereafter, the third-party component receives a second packet copy comprising third identifiers from the network component.

  • Patent number: 11042128
Abstract: A method for predicting equipment failure includes receiving parameter sample values associated with parameters of benchmark equipment and operational status information associated with the benchmark equipment. The parameter sample values and operational status information are periodically acquired. A model is generated for relating one or more of the parameters to benchmark equipment failure. For each parameter, a threshold value at which an output of the model indicates benchmark equipment failure is determined. Next, parameters of an equipment under test having parameter sample values that match the determined threshold values are determined. For each determined parameter, benchmark equipment having parameter sample values that match the parameter sample values of the equipment under test that match the determine threshold values are determined. Survivability data for the equipment under test is generated based on survivability data associated with the determined benchmark equipment.

  • Patent number: 11017822
Abstract: Examples described herein provide a method for disabling a defective portion of a fabric die of a stacked IC device. The method includes receiving a signal indicating that a portion of a fabric die of a stacked IC device including at least two fabric dies is defective. The method further includes, in response to the signal, pulling a source voltage rail of the defective portion to ground, thereby disabling the portion, and operating the remainder of the fabric die without interference from or contention with the disabled portion. In one example, the stacked IC device is an active on active (AoA) device, and the portion of the fabric die includes a configuration memory cell. In one example, the signal is received after power-up of the stacked IC device.

  • Patent number: 11004833
Abstract: Examples described herein generally relate to multi-chip devices having stacked chips. In an example, a multi-chip device includes a chip stack that includes chips. Neighboring chips are connected to each other. Plural chips of the chips collectively include columns of broken via pillars and bridges. Each of the plural chips has a broken via pillar in each column. The broken via pillar has first and second continuous via pillar portions aligned in a direction normal to a side of a semiconductor substrate of the respective chip. The first continuous via pillar portion is not connected within the broken via pillar to the second continuous via pillar portion. Each of the plural chips has one or more of the bridges. Each bridge connects, within the respective chip, the first continuous via pillar portion in a column and the second continuous via pillar portion in another column.

  • Patent number: 10990555
Abstract: Embodiments herein describe an interface between PL fabric and a hardened block that includes a programmable pipeline. This pipeline includes at least a sequential element and a bypass path. For time critical nets in a netlist, the programmable IC routes a net through the sequential element. Doing so mitigates or eliminates the uncertainty associated with routing the net from the hardened block through PL fabric. Also, the sequential element can increase the available time for capturing the data. For less time critical nets, the net can route through the bypass path. This means the route from the hardened block to the PL fabric is determined on the fly by a routing algorithm rather than being fixed.

  • Patent number: 10990929
Abstract: The present approach relates to providing targeted content to a user (e.g., employee) of an enterprise. In certain implementations, the present techniques involve receiving filter data (e.g., data identifying an employee) from a user and providing content in the form of knowledge blocks to a user based on metadata of the knowledge blocks that is associated with the filter data. In other implementations, the present techniques involve receiving trigger data (e.g., data of an employee satisfying a condition) and providing a set of activities (e.g., social activities or work related) to a user based on the trigger data.

  • Patent number: 10949498
Abstract: Disclosed approaches for circuitry that implements a softmax function include difference calculation circuitry configured to calculate differences between combinations of elements, zk?zj, of a vector. First lookup circuitry is configured to lookup and output representations of exponential values, ezk?zj associated with the differences in response to input of the differences. Each adder circuit of N adder circuits sums a subset of the exponential values output from the first lookup circuitry and a value of 1. The sum output by each adder circuit denotes a denominator of a plurality of denominators of the softmax function. Second lookup circuitry is configured with quotients and looks-up and outputs quotients associated with the plurality of denominators as results of the softmax function.
