    Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed to establish and verify a Tunneled Direct Link Setup (TDLS) link between a first wireless device and a second wireless device. In some embodiments, the first wireless device may receive a TDLS setup confirmation message from the second wireless device. Based on the TDLS setup confirmation message, the first wireless device may transmit a TDLS verification message to the second wireless. The TDLS link may be verified when the second wireless device receives the TDLS verification message. In some embodiments, when the TDLS verification message is not received by the second wireless device, a TDLS check message may be sent by the second wireless device to the first wireless device. The first wireless device may transmit a TDLS check complete message based on the TDLS check message. The TDLS link may be verified when the second device receives the TDLS check complete message.

A plurality of NAN devices may be distributed throughout a geographic area and may monitor the environmental conditions of their respective locations. The NAN devices may relay the environmental condition information to a route determining device, which may determine a route through the geographic area. The determined route may be based at least in part on the environmental condition information received from the NAN devices. The route determined route may be communicated to a mobile target associated with the geographic area.
