  • Publication number: 20240265341
Abstract: Systems and methods for minimizing transporter wait times are disclosed. A server computer associated with an item fulfillment service organization (e.g., an organization that manages the delivery of items, such as food, to end users), can estimate the amount of time it will take to prepare an item (e.g., a meal) by a service provider (e.g., a restaurant). The server computer can also estimate the amount of time it will take a transporter (e.g., a delivery driver) to travel to the service provider in order to retrieve the item. The server computer can use machine learning to perform this estimation process. Based on these time estimations, the server computer can time the release of messages to transporters and service providers, in order to minimize the amount of time that a transporter is waiting for an item to be prepared by a service provider.

  • Patent number: 11558379
Abstract: Some implementations of the disclosure are directed to receiving, at an authentication server system, a distributed ledger address transmitted by a client device to identify itself during an authentication process for accessing a network, where the distributed ledger address corresponds to a distributed ledger network; transmitting an authentication challenge message from the authentication server to the client device; in response to transmitting the authentication challenge message from the authentication server to the client device, receiving at the authentication server, a response to the challenge message including a signature; and using at least the distributed ledger network to determine if the signature used to sign the response to the challenge message is associated with the distributed ledger address transmitted by the client device.
