  • Patent number: 9693181
Abstract: A surveillance detection apparatus for detecting an intruder to a restricted space includes a short range radio transceiver and a processor. The short range radio transceiver, which has a predefined limited range, causes the surveillance detection apparatus to send an intrusion signal to the processor in response to the short range radio transceiver receiving a short range radio signal from a communication device that is in the possession of an intruder, who is not pre-authorized by the processor to be within the predefined limited range of the short range radio transceiver, and thus the restricted space. In response to determining that the communication device is not pre-authorized to be within the predefined limited range of the short range radio transceiver, the processor generates an intruder alert.

  • Publication number: 20160142909
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for dynamic password-less user verification in a mobile device are provided in the illustrative embodiments. Using a processor and a memory in the mobile device, a first portion of a call log stored in the mobile device is selected. Using a transformation function, a first transformed value corresponding to the first portion is obtained. A second portion of a call log stored in a repository of a service provider is obtained from the service provider, the service provider facilitating voice communications from the mobile device, and the second portion corresponding to the first portion. Using the transformation function, a second transformed value corresponding to the second portion is obtained. Responsive to the first transformed value matching the second transformed value within a tolerance limit, a conclusion is generated that the user verification is successful.

  • Publication number: 20150379520
Abstract: A mechanism is provided for improving customer satisfaction. Natural language processing (NLP) is utilized to identify information from a customer ticket that addresses a customer issue thereby forming one or more pieces of NLP identified information. Each piece of NLP identified information is analyzed to identify one or more responsible parties responsible for delays in addressing the customer issue. Responsive to identifying at least one responsible party responsible for at least one delay in addressing the customer issue, an indication flag is created for the responsible party. A notification of the at least one responsible party responsible for the at least one delay in addressing the customer issue is then sent.
