Abstract: Certain embodiments provide a system and method for improved adjustment of a field of view for an image. The system includes an image processor configured to process raw image data to generate a processed image and a user interface configured to allow a user to adjust the field of view for the processed image. The image processor automatically determines a field of view for the raw image data for use in generating the processed image. The user interface may be used to select a series of points/vertices and/or a boundary in an image to adjust the field of view, for example. The image processor may re-process the processed image using the adjusted field of view, for example. The image may be cropped based on the adjusted field of view. The system may also include a storage device for storing the processed image with the adjusted field of view.
