A normalization period and a normalization factor are selected for content that is to be output to a user of the content receiver. As the content is to be output to the user, a current audio intensity of the content is determined. If the current audio intensity exceeds a threshold, then the current audio intensity is normalized based on the normalization factor and an audio intensity of the content over the normalization period. The content is then output at the normalized audio intensity.

The device sends to a control motor a second signal, the second signal including the adjusted angle value or the adjusted height value. Responsive to receiving the second signal, a control motor performs at least one of: adjust a rotatable bracket based on the adjusted angle value, or adjust an adjustable height pole based on the adjusted height value. The controller device may determine the location or the position of the user based on the user profile.
