  • Patent number: 11396372
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to systems and methods for providing a control link for an aircraft in which the control link comprises an impact-resistant structure with a redundant load path. The control link has an inner structure that is sized to carry the anticipated load of the flight control system and to meet all safety factors. The control link also has an outer structure that is sacrificial and configured to absorb impact damage during operation, thereby protecting the inner structure. The outer structure is also designed to carry the anticipated load of the flight control system on its own, independent of the inner structure, and to meet all safety factors. If the outer structure fails, the inner structure allows for continued safe operation of the flight control system. The space or cavity between the inner and outer structures may be filled with a material, such as a closed-cell foam, to improve the impact resistance of the outer structure.

  • Patent number: 11399310
Abstract: A data communication network serves User Equipment (UE) over an optimal wireless network slice for a user application. A Network Exposure Function (NEF) receives a notice message indicating a UE Identifier (ID) for the UE and an application ID for the user application when the UE downloads the user application. In response, the NEF transfers a download message indicating the UE ID and the application ID to a network control-plane. The network control-plane receives the download message from the NEF, and in response, selects a slice ID for the optimal network slice based on the application ID for the user application. The network control-plane transfers a slice message indicating the application ID and the slice ID to the UE. In response to the slice message, the UE uses the optimal network slice when executing the user application.

  • Publication number: 20220227122
Abstract: Ink-based digital printing systems useful for ink printing include a rotatable charge-retentive reimageable surface layer configured to receive a layer of fountain solution. The fountain solution is carried to the charge retentive surface by a fog or mist including fountain solution aerosol particles, dispersed gas particles, and charge directors that impart charge to the fountain solution aerosol particles. The charge-retentive reimageable surface may be charged to a uniform potential, and selectively discharged using an ROS according to image data to form an electrostatic latent image. The charged fountain solution adheres to portions of the charge-retentive reimageable surface according to the electrostatic latent image to form a fountain solution image thereon. The fountain solution image can be partially transferred to an imaging blanket, where the fountain solution image is inked. The resulting ink image may be transferred to a print substrate.

  • Publication number: 20220230123
Abstract: A system includes one or more client instances hosted by a platform, in which the one or more client instances includes an agent port. A client may submit a request for a resolution to an agent. The agent portal may receive the request, display a subset of one or more sub-case type selections in response to receiving the request, and receive an indication of a selected sub-case type selection of the one or more sub-case type selection to initiate one or more processes to resolve the request. In response to selecting the sub-case type selection, the system may automatically select related sub-case type selections to resolve the request.

  • Publication number: 20220231847
Abstract: A device participates in a cyclical collaboration system. The device receives a request from a third party. A request value is determined that is associated with the request. A first random number is determined based on the first request value. The first random number is provided to a downstream device. A second random number is received that is generated by a upstream device. A first encrypted request value is determined based on the first request value, the first random number, and the second random number. The first encrypted request value is provided to a multiple party encryption subsystem. Encrypted request values generated by other participants of the cyclical collaboration network are received from the multiple party encryption subsystem. A validation score is determined based on the first encrypted request values and the encrypted request values received from the multiple party encryption subsystem.

  • Publication number: 20220230144
Abstract: A productivity entity container data structure is created that includes information for a first productivity entity and a link to a second productivity entity. The information for the first productivity entity includes either a link to the first productivity entity or details for the first productivity entity stored directly in the productivity entity container data structure. The first productivity entity and the second productivity entity are of different productivity entity types (e.g., an assigned task associated with a scheduled calendar event). By using the productivity entity container data structure to link together multiple different productivity entities of different productivity entity types, computer-based productivity systems are configured to directly access and display information for related productivity entities of different productivity entity types in a unified-view interface.

  • Publication number: 20220227125
Abstract: Ink-based digital printing systems useful for ink printing include a secondary roller having a rotatable reimageable surface layer configured to receive fountain solution. The fountain solution layer is patterned on the secondary roller and then partially transferred to an imaging blanket, where the fountain solution image is inked. The resulting ink image may be transferred to a print substrate. To achieve a very high-resolution (e.g., 1200-dpi, over 900-dpi) print with these secondary roller configurations, an equivalent very high-resolution fountain solution image needs to be transferred from the secondary roller onto the imaging blanket. To increase the resolution of the image on the secondary roller, examples include a textured surface layer added to the secondary roller for contact angle pinning the fountain solution on the roll. Approaches to introduce a micro-structure onto the surface layer of the secondary roller, and also superoleophobic surface coatings are described.

  • Patent number: 11394387
Abstract: A new class of logic gates are presented that use non-linear polar material. The logic gates include multi-input majority gates. Input signals in the form of digital signals are driven to non-linear input capacitors on their respective first terminals. The second terminals of the non-linear input capacitors are coupled a summing node which provides a majority function of the inputs. The majority node is then coupled driver circuitry which can be any suitable logic gate such as a buffer, inverter, NAND gate, NOR gate, etc. In the multi-input majority or minority gates, the non-linear charge response from the non-linear input capacitors results in output voltages close to or at rail-to-rail voltage levels. Bringing the majority output close to rail-to-rail voltage eliminates the high leakage problem faced from majority gates formed using linear input capacitors.

  • Patent number: 11395041
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for determining whether a media asset intended to be recorded is actually transmitted at the time and on the source of a scheduled higher-priority recording. Should the intended media asset not be transmitted in a desirable way, or not transmitted at all, the system will instead make a recording of a lower-priority recording that would not have been made because of a conflict. The systems and methods described herein, before making a higher-priority recording, obtain a sample of the media asset included in a received transmission at a scheduled time and compare it to content associated with the media asset scheduled for recording to determine whether to record the received transmission.
