  • Publication number: 20240386590
Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to method and system for predicting distance of gazed objects using IR camera. Eye tracking technology is widely used to study human behavior and patterns in eye movements. Existing gaze trackers focus on predicting gaze point and hardly analyzes distance of the gazed object from the gazer or directly classify region of focus. The method of the present disclosure predicts gazed objects distance using a pair of IR cameras placed on either side of a smart glass. The gaze predictor ML model predicts distance at least one gazed object positioned from eye of each subject during systematic execution of a set of tasks. From each pupillary information of each pupil a set of features are extracted which are utilized to classify the gazed object of the subject based on the distance into at least one of a near class, an intermediate class, and a far class.

  • Publication number: 20240385274
Abstract: A method includes obtaining k-space data acquired by an MRI scanner from a single channel body coil utilizing a multi-shot EP-DWI pulse sequence and sampling the k-space data for a plurality of shots so that for each shot both a central k-space is fully sampled to form a central calibration region and an outer k-space is partially sampled by a factor equal to a number of shots. The method includes reconstructing an initial fully sampled k-space estimate for each shot utilizing both partial Fourier constant sampling and projection on convex sets reconstruction, wherein the plurality of shots is treated as a plurality of channels for filling in missing k-space for a respective shot. The method includes utilizing a low-rank regularization algorithm in an iterative manner to generate a reconstructed image for each shot, wherein the initial fully sampled k-space estimate for each shot is utilized as an initial guess.

  • Publication number: 20240380706
Abstract: Methods are provided for visualizing end-to-end path traversed by a hybrid media traffic flow. Specifically, the methods involve obtaining at least one hybrid flow record that includes information about a source of a traffic flow prior to performing a network address translation for the traffic flow. The traffic flow traverses from the source, along a path in a network, to a destination. The method further involves generating a merged flow data record in which at least two flow data records are merged based on the at least one hybrid flow record. The at least two flow data records include a unicast flow data record and a multicast flow data record based on the traffic flow traversing along the path in the network. The method further includes providing an end-to-end visibility of the path traversed by the traffic flow based on the merged flow data record.

  • Publication number: 20240380989
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for capturing, communicating and using image data to support virtual reality experiences are described. Images, e.g., frames, are captured at a high resolution but lower frame rate than is used for playback. Interpolation is applied to captured frames to generate interpolated frames. Captured frames, along with interpolated frame information, are communicated to the playback device. The combination of captured and interpolated frames correspond to a second frame playback rate which is higher than the image capture rate. Cameras operate at a high image resolution but slower frame rate than images could be captured with the same cameras at a lower resolution. Interpolation is performed prior to delivery to the user device with segments to be interpolated being selected based on motion and/or lens FOV information. A relatively small amount of interpolated frame data is communicated compared to captured frame data for efficient bandwidth use.

  • Publication number: 20240380403
Abstract: An adder with first and second majority gates. For a 1-bit adder, output from a 3-input majority gate is inverted and input two times to a 5-input majority gate. Other inputs to the 5-input majority gate are same as those of the 3-input majority gate. The output of the 5-input majority gate is a sum while the output of the 3-input majority gate is the carry. Multiple 1-bit adders are concatenated to form an N-bit adder. The input signals are driven to first terminals of non-ferroelectric capacitors while the second terminals are coupled to form a majority node. Majority function of the input signals occurs on this node. The majority node is then coupled to a first terminal of a non-linear polar capacitor. The second terminal of the capacitor provides the output of the logic gate. A reset mechanism initializes the non-linear polar capacitor before addition function is performed.
