  • Publication number: 20150056598
Abstract: The present disclosure described herein, generally relates to a system and method for displaying user-specific content on an online learning platform. In one aspect, a method and system are disclosed for displaying user-specific content retrieved from an internet to the user, based on user's requirement. Based on the interaction of the user with the learning platform, a user-profile may be generated and further categorized into a pre-defined learning category. Along with the user-profile, the system may be also configured to generate a profile of content fetched from the online library of the learning platform on basis of pre-defined parameters. From the content profiled, phrases may be extracted for generating search strings. These search strings may be further used to perform an automated search over the internet to retrieve the user-specific content. Further, the user-specific content may be also profiled on basis of the pre-defined parameters.

  • Publication number: 20140344673
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and system for enhancing interactive online learning technology. In one embodiment, the document transformation module transforms the input document in an extensible markup language (XML) format. The document parser module parses the input document transformed using an extensible style sheet language transformation (XSLT). The navigation file creation module creates a navigation order between a plurality of content in the input document parsed, wherein the navigation order is created to describe a relative path between the contents. The asset file creation module creates an asset file, wherein the asset file is created based on the relative path between the contents. The tagging module tags the contents in the input document transformed. The repository stores the input document transformed comprising: the navigation order, the asset file and the tags, in a repository and the interface enables a user to communicate with other user on the system using the stored document.

  • Publication number: 20130260354
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and system for evaluating at least one content object received from at least one user through an input module in a collaborative platform. The system comprises an analyzing module, a publishing module, an evaluation module and a display module. The analyzing module is configured to detect whether the at least one content object is extraneous. The publishing module is configured to publish the at least one content object not detected as extraneous. After publishing, the evaluation module verifies whether the at least one content object or any other content object has been previously published by the at least one user. Based on the verification, the evaluation module selectively enables at least one other user to assign a preliminary score or a secondary score the at least one content object and to optionally mark the at least one content object assigned with the secondary score as ‘substantive’.
