Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a process for obtaining an aromatic lean stream and an aromatic rich stream from a hydrocarbon feed, the process comprising: (a) obtaining a hydrocarbon feed; and (b) contacting the hydrocarbon feed with a solvent selected from a group consisting of alkyl aromatic hydrophilic polyethylene oxide, polyethylene glycols, and combinations thereof to obtain an aromatic lean stream and an aromatic rich stream. It further discloses a simultaneous process to obtain an aromatic lean stream and an aromatic rich stream. The present disclosure also discloses a process for obtaining de-aromatized kerosene from a hydrocarbon feed. Additionally, the present disclosure discloses a process for obtaining BTX from a hydrocarbon feed.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus to support diagnosis processes are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a data extractor to extract information related to a life stage of a patient from clinical records associated with a patient; and a first interface to interact with a database storing information related to a plurality of hazardous event exposures, wherein interacting with the database comprises determining whether a first one of the hazardous event exposures stored in the database corresponds to the life stage of the patient.

Abstract: A method is provided for prototyping, testing, stimulating and verifying software embedded in a microprocessor without modifications to the underlying source code. The method includes: presenting an software program having a plurality of machine instructions of a finite number of fixed lengths in an executable form; searching through the machine instructions of the executable and finding at least one appropriate instruction to replace; and defining a replacement instruction for identified machine instructions in the software program; and replacing identified machine instructions in the executable form of the software program with the replacement instruction. The replacement instruction may be further defined as a branch instruction that references an address outside an address space for the software program.
