  • Patent number: 9116190
Abstract: An apparatus for observing turns and twists in magnetic phenomena including a nonferrous box, a stationary platform set in the middle of the box with a post to support a magnet, a right-hand and a left-hand screws united with coupling and having moving platforms at equal distance from the middle fixed platform with posts to support the specimen, the specimen poized by the magnetic field, and to hover the specimen move the platforms back and forth in continuous and intermittent motions, dc stepper motor to provide the motion, and controlled by power supply, push button switches, and limit switches.

  • Publication number: 20090189602
Abstract: A method for observing a magnetic field decoupled from an electromagnetic field including three fundamental steps, including producing a magnetic field with an electromagnetic field producing means, maneuvering a magnetometer to observe the magnitude and delineation of said magnetic field, and observing the decoupling a magnetic field from the electromagnetic field. In a preferred embodiment the apparatus for practicing the method includes a power supply circuit for maintaining a constant direct current source. Activating the power supply causes a current to flow through the coil of a solenoid, thus creating a magnetic field inside the solenoid, preferably having a hollow low carbon steel core. The apparatus for examining the magnetic field consists of a magnetometer including a hook for hanging a specimen from a non-ferrous dowel. The system includes a ferrous specimen and a non-ferrous specimen.

  • Patent number: 7471083
Abstract: An apparatus for observing magnetic phenomena including a nonferrous planar platform, a cylinder disposed upright on the platform, magnets placed on the platform at the lower end of the cylinder, specimen suspending means disposed at the upper end of the cylinder, ferrous and nonferrous specimens selectively connected to the specimen suspending means when the other specimen is not so connected, a shaft disposed through opposing holes in the side of the cylinder, and biasing means disposed inside the cylinder between the specimen suspending means and the shaft.
