  • Patent number: 10552302
Abstract: A system and method for analyzing risk factors to enhance the quality of program code have been disclosed. The risks are identified and evaluated, post which test cases are defined for each of the identified risk factors. Further, the defect density, code complexity and change rate corresponding to each of the test cases is determined. Risk profiles are created for each of the test cases. The risk profiles are categorized based on defect density, complexity of the code and change rate. The test cases are evaluated depending upon the risk posed by new scripts added to the program code. The scripts need to be executed for satisfying a necessary and sufficient condition are decided based on the correlation between program code files, activities on those files, defects corresponding to those files and test cases used to test those defects.

  • Patent number: 9338488
Abstract: A system and method configured to selectively broadcast channelized video contents between multicasting sessions and/or uni-casting sessions are disclosed. In one embodiment, a process of media broadcast transmits channelized video content over a uni-casting session from a content provider to first user equipment (“UE”) via a base station. The channelized video content and number of UEs receiving the channelized video content are tracked and accounted. Upon receiving a second request for the channelized video content from a second UE via the base station, a multicasting session capable of broadcasting the channelized video content is established. The process allows the first UE and the second UE to receive the channelized video content via the multicasting session.

  • Publication number: 20160004626
Abstract: The various embodiments herein provide a system and method for analyzing and assessing multiple risk factors to enhance the quality of source code during software development. The method comprises the steps of: identifying and analyzing multiple risk factors such as but not limited to identifying impact of removed or optimized cases on a source code; evaluating multiple risks and defining one or more test cases; and categorizing risk profiles for a series of test case. The risk profile is determined based on the ranking of the defect density, complexity of the code and change rate. The method for prioritizing the test cases based on the risks is provided. The method evaluates the test case scenario depending on the risk posed by the new source code. The method prioritizes which scripts need to be executed for a necessary and sufficient condition.

  • Patent number: 8705361
Abstract: Currently, network utilization and performance are diminished due to capacity issues, which may be resolved by adding hardware/software to spread traffic uniformly according to network element usage information. Disclosed is a method of and corresponding apparatus for resolving network element capacity issues in a wireless network by inspecting data traffic content for information about wireless network elements and data traffic content, collecting said information, and managing (e.g., shaping and steering) the incoming traffic based on the information. Examples of said information include radio bearer resource information for network elements and traffic associated with a wireless access portion of the wireless network and radio access bearer information for network elements and traffic associated with a backhaul portion of the wireless network.

  • Publication number: 20080026755
Abstract: A method and system is provided for supporting a Mobile Station (MS) (110) that is capable of Multiple Transfer Mode (MTM) communication in a telecommunications network, when the MS (110) is handed over from a MTM non-enabled cell (102) to an MTM-enabled cell (102). The method includes transmitting an information message to the MS (110) by using Fast Access Control Channel (FACCH) signaling.

  • Publication number: 20030231598
Abstract: A communication system that includes a mobile station (MS) in wireless communication with an infrastructure comprising a Serving GPRS Support Node (SGSN) operably coupled to a Packet Control Unit (PCU) utilizes a synchronization message conveyed by the SGSN to the PCU and a synchronization message acknowledgment conveyed by the PCU to the SGSN to determine the data provided to the MS, to provide corTect accounting information and lost data packet recovery, and to allow the SGSN to control a flow of data packets to the PCU. Furthermore, a synchronization buffer included in the SGSN stores copies of data packets conveyed by the SGSN to the PCU, allowing the SGSN to reconvey lost data packets to the serving PCU and to convey, to a target PCU, data packets conveyed by the SGSN to the serving PCU but not conveyed by the serving PCU to the MS.
