  • Patent number: 11023432
Abstract: When tenants migrate data from on-premises archiving solutions to a hosted service, tenants should maintain just enough data for compliance purposes and dispose of data that is no longer needed to reduce overall liability and compliance risk exposure. Embodiments are directed to providing selective import of data to a hosted service through a security and compliance system associated with the hosted service to reduce overall liability and compliance risk exposure. Data, usage pattern and security/compliance policies associated with a tenant of the hosted service may be analyzed. A model for importing tenant data may be created based on the analysis. A suggestion may be presented to the tenant based on the model, where the suggestion includes a filter for importing tenant data. In response to receiving a confirmation to implement the suggestion, the filter may be applied to the tenant data as it is imported to the hosted service.

  • Publication number: 20210152561
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to systems and methods for creating compliance boundaries. In one example, compliance boundaries may be implemented via a compliance tool. Data associated with a tenant may be segregated using a plurality of layers defining one or more compliance boundaries. In response to an action initiated by a compliance administrator using the compliance tool for accessing the data, it may be determined which data is within the one or more compliance boundaries associated with the compliance administrator. Access to the data determined to be within the one or more compliance boundaries associated with the compliance administrator may be authorized.

  • Patent number: 8819492
Abstract: System and method for generating an enhanced test case for a computer application is disclosed. The system provides a test preparation engine including an entity extracting module and an assembly extractor for collecting information about the computer application and corresponding database schema for generating a global report. The test case designing module designs one or more test cases by using the global report. The test case execution engine includes an input evaluation module and generates an actual result for each executed test case and an expected result for one or more database query. The report generating module includes a result storage device, a result comparator and a result analysis module and performs analysis of the actual test case result and the expected results.
