  • Publication number: 20190180551
Abstract: A reverse vending machine is provided that includes an interface cabinet having an inlet portal. At least one bin is provided for receiving the accepted recyclable container. A roller system identifies and sorts the recyclable containers. A crusher is driven by a motor with a mechanical coupling between the crusher and the motor. The crusher is adapted to receive various containers and is positioned intermediate between the roller system and the bin. A cart or frame displaceable relative to the interface cabinet, the crusher is mounted on the cart or the frame. A reverse vending machine in another embodiment includes a interface cabinet, the interface cabinet having an inlet portal for recyclable container input and a rejected container depository. At least one bin and a roller system are provided along with a wash system for cleaning components of the interface cabinet between the inlet portal and the bin.

  • Patent number: 9929501
Abstract: A wiring feedthrough assembly is provided that has a set of parallel guide rails with slots with a female electrical connector positioned between the guide rails that join to a feedthrough connector with a male electrical connector. A set of wings on opposite sides of the feedthrough connector are configured to engage and slide in the slots until the female electrical connector engages the male electrical connector. A conduit extending outward from the feedthrough connector contains a set of wires, where the set of wires terminate at the male electrical connector. The wiring feedthrough assembly provides for more reliable connections that are easier to install and remove in applications such as display cases, including refrigeration applications.

  • Patent number: 9890914
Abstract: A modular track light emitting diode (LED) lighting assembly is provided for improved product lighting in display cases, including refrigeration applications. The modular track LED lighting assembly has a series of LED, including one or more flat LED arranged at an angle to form a lighting spine. In a specific inventive embodiment, the one or more flat LED are arranged at a forty five degree angle. Embodiments of the modular track LED lighting assembly may be configured with a single sided series of light sources or single lighting spine for installation on corners or shelves, or with a double sided series of light sources or lighting spines for mounting on mullions between doors of a display cabinet. The lighting assembly may be powered via battery, or via an alternating current (AC) source that is converted to a direct current (DC) voltage.
