Abstract: Automated storage and retrieval terminals are disclosed. In some examples, an automated storage and retrieval terminal includes an electronic access system, a display screen, and a control system. The control system is configured for determining that a user present at the automated storage and retrieval terminal is authorized to access a package from a locker and, in response, causing the electronic access system to provide the user access to the first package. The control system is further configured for displaying, based on user information provided by the user at the automated storage and retrieval terminal or package information stored by the control system as part of storing the first package in the first locker or both, a targeted message for the user on the display screen.

Abstract: An information monitoring system for the collection of all real-time information activity between a user and a variety of information services. The real-time interaction between a user using a communication device to interface with an information service is monitored to collect certain predetermined information which characterizes the nature of the user's interaction with a particular information service. The information is collected on a operation by operation basis and is ultimately aggregated at a central location for data analysis purposes.

Abstract: A common adjunct switch integrated with a telecommunications network and associated with a plurality of predetermined telephone numbers prefixed by a common code is provided with a facility which allows telephone subscribers that are assigned respective ones of the telephone numbers to personalize the way in which they receive long distance telephone calls. For example, such a subscriber may program his/her associated service record to put into effect call forwarding or call screening. In addition, each such subscriber may be associated with one or more caller identification numbers, in which a caller identification number is used to determine whether a call placed to a service number is billed to the called subscriber or the calling party.
