    Abstract: An air filter comprising, in addition to a porous paper annular filter, a filter in the form of a canopy disposed above the air outlet orifice. This filter comprises a trellis forming a support for absorbent material meshes extending into a water tank. The meshes become wet by absorbing the water from the tank by capilliary action and ensure, by forced convection, a humidification of the air aspirated by the engine.
