    Abstract: The method for transferring data, such as sounds and/or images and/or alphanumeric data and/or programs, between at least one electronic terminal and at least one terminal. The method is characterized in that it includes inputting at the electronic terminal used, references of the terminal; selecting, at the terminal, specific data; settling the amount for the selected service, using a payment peripheral installed on the terminal; and transmitting to the terminal, via a communication network, the selected data so as to personalize the terminal. The invention also concerns a data transfer system adapted to implement the method.
