Abstract: A system and method provides a dynamic table framework for managing data in a high performance web service. An example embodiment includes: receiving a request at a web service; creating a dynamic record from the request; obtaining a runtime corresponding to the dynamic record, the runtime including an associated plurality of symbol values corresponding to the request; choosing a model corresponding to the runtime, the model including a plurality of symbol managers, each of the plurality of symbol managers being associated with the plurality of symbol values, each of the plurality of symbol managers for processing a specific task of the model; executing the model, by use of a data processor, to process the request, the model using at least one of the plurality of symbol managers; and returning results generated by execution of the model.

Abstract: A centralized system for the monitoring of remote multimedia signals which monitors and assesses the quality of the services distributed over an IP packet telecommunications network (30) comprising a plurality of customer premises equipment (22-2), one of the items of such equipment being connectable to an access gateway (21), such as a digital subscriber line access multiplexer (DSLAM), via a line (23) susceptible of receiving multimedia content such as data, voice and video over IP; the said content being returned direct to the access multiplexer via a return line (24).

Abstract: Apparatus for installing a rivet nut or the like having an intentionally threaded shaft wherein the apparatus includes a hydraulically geared power tool having an inner hydraulic fluid containing a chamber and a screw adapted to engage the threaded shaft of the nut wherein the power tool rotates the screw when actuated. A fluid outlet is coupled to the chamber and is coupled to a gauge controlled power supply, the power supply being fluidly coupled to the power tool whereby the power supply includes torque predetermining device for determining when a predetermined torque is placed on the screw, this stopping rotation thereof and resuming rotation in an opposite direction to withdraw the screw from the nut.

Abstract: A method for determining the signal constellation of a received signal establishes a moment based on each waveform, squares the moment, fourth powers the moment, divides the fourth power by the square to obtain a ratio, and compares the ratio to a threshold. If the ratio is less than threshold, the signal constellation corresponds to a first type, and if greater than the threshold, the signal constellation corresponds to a second type. The method can be generalized to a magnitude mean in place of a second moment.
