  • Patent number: 11078752
Abstract: A method and system for completing cementing operations in a subterranean well with a wiper plug assembly includes delivering the wiper plug assembly into a casing, the wiper plug assembly having a wiper plug body with a circular cross section and a resilient wiper element that engages an inner diameter of the casing string. An inclination of the wiper plug assembly is measured in three dimensions with an accelerometer assembly and an azimuth of the wiper plug assembly is measured in three dimensions with a magnetometer. The inclination and the azimuth of the wiper plug assembly are delivered to a control unit in real time. An inclination of the wiper plug assembly is determined in real time. The inclination of the wiper plug assembly is delivered to an earth's surface in real time with a transmitter of the electronics package.

  • Patent number: 10544648
Abstract: Systems and methods for sealing a wellbore are described. The system includes a packing element configured to at least partially seal an uphole portion of a wellbore from a downhole portion of the wellbore. A first annular pressure sensor is positioned uphole of the packing element. The first annular pressure sensor is configured to measure a first pressure within the wellbore uphole of the packing element. A second annular pressure sensor is positioned downhole of the packing element. The second annular pressure sensor is configured to measure a second pressure within the wellbore downhole of the packing element. A control sub-assembly is configured to be positioned within the wellbore. The control sub-assembly is configured to monitor a sealing efficiency of the system by comparing the first pressure and the second pressure.

  • Publication number: 20180252053
Abstract: A first polish bore receptacle includes a first uphole end and a second downhole end. The first downhole end of the first polish bore receptacle attaches at an uphole end of a liner disposed at a downhole end of a wellbore. The first polish bore receptacle accepts a first seal assembly. A second polish bore receptacle includes a second uphole end and a second downhole end. The second polish bore receptacle is disposed uphole of the first polish bore receptacle. The second polish bore receptacle receives a second seal assembly. A retrievable ratch latch assembly connects the second downhole end of the second polish bore receptacle and the first uphole end of the first polish bore receptacle. The ratch latch assembly and the second polish bore receptacle are retrievable from within the wellbore.
