Abstract: A system includes a computing device comprising a memory storing instructions configured to cause a processor to receive: purchase data associated with products purchased by a user, online activity data performed by the user and other users and associated with information pertaining to the products, and vendor information comprising retail sales data, after-market sales data, and product availability associated with the products. The processor determines one or more values of the products based on the purchase data, the online activity data, and the vendor information and whether the purchased products correspond to specialty products based on the purchase data, the online activity data, and the values of the products. The processor may then send a notification to the user comprising an offer for insurance for the products in response to determining the products correspond to specialty products.

Abstract: A computer device and method for processing risk related data to determine one or more insurance products for appliances and other systems located in or on an insured property. Informatic data is received from one or more informatic sensor devices relating to one or more appliances located in or on an insured property. Analysis is performed on the received informatic data to determine one or more insurance products to be recommended for at least one appliance located in or on the insured property. Notification is provided regarding determination of the one or more insurance products for the at least one appliance located in or on the insured property.

Abstract: A first inspection of insured property is performed to detect hazardous conditions related to the insured property. This first inspection is performed using a first set of imagery data received from one or more imagery data sources. One or more preventive measures are recommended to address the detected hazardous conditions based on analysis of the first set of imagery data. A second inspection is performed using a second set of imagery data received from the imagery data sources. The second inspection is performed to verify that recommended preventive measures have been taken. The first and second sets of imagery data may contain satellite and aerial imagery. The imagery data sources may provide information such as an image of an insured property's roof, an image of a terrain surrounding the insured property, or any other aerial images.

Abstract: A computer device and method for processing risk related data to affect changes to an insurance policy whereby one or more terms of an insurance policy associated with an insured and informatic data from a plurality of sensor devices are received by a computer processor. Analysis is performed on the received informatic data to determine a risk assessment value regarding the insured and/or other risks relevant to the insurance policy, such as a dwelling. Predefined business rules are then applied using at least the determined risk assessment value to determine if conditions have been met to allow or require modification of the insurance policy whereafter modification of one or more terms of the insurance policy is performed if the insurance policy associated with the insured permits modification.

Received is specification data regarding modifications to be made to insured property in connection with an insurance claim. Also received is data from one or more sensor devices associated with the insured property indicative of a status regarding modifications made to the insured property. Analysis is performed on the received specification and data to determine whether one or more predefined conditions for the insurance claim is satisfied regarding the modifications to be made to the insured property.

Abstract: The present disclosure is related to a method for a monitor system containing a processor that may receive position data from one or more sensors associated with one or more electronic devices. The position data may represent the devices' various locations over time. The monitor system may determine whether the locations represented by the position data correspond to expected locations generated by a predictive model. After determining that the locations and expected locations do not correspond to one another, the monitor system may send an alert to a computing device.

Abstract: A system and method to monitor individual appliance performance. A monitor module is provided for aggregating data from a plurality of appliances wherein the module includes. Included in the monitor device is a gateway device configured to capture operational data relating to each of the plurality of appliances and an analyzing device configured to determine individual operational characteristics for each of the appliances from analysis of the captured operational data. A notification device is further provided which is configured to provide information to a user regarding the determined operational characteristics for each of the appliances.

Abstract: A controller of a computing device determines devices that are currently connected at the building. Based on the devices currently connected at the building, the controller determines recommended devices to connect and recommends the recommended devices by displaying the recommended devices on a display of the computing device. In some embodiments, the controller also determines property information of the building. The controller then determines recommended devices to connect based on the property information and/or the devices currently connected at the building. The controller recommends the recommended devices by displaying the recommended devices on the display of the computing device. In this manner, the disclosed systems and methods may recommend devices to connect at the building, making the devices and/or appliances of the building operate more efficiently and/or adding security to the building.

One of the methods includes receiving information about damage to a home of a homeowner. The method includes retrieving a home insurance policy associated with the homeowner and home insurance claims that have been submitted by other homeowners. The method also includes analyzing the information about the damage, the home insurance policy, and the home insurance claims to determine an estimate of cost of a claim that would cover the damage. In addition, the method includes providing the homeowner with the estimate of cost of the claim.

Abstract: A computer device and method for managing multiple electronic sensors is provided where a server receives building condition data from a motion sensor, analyzes the received data, and activates (or reconfigures) a camera sensor to capture an image of the inhabitants present within the building; the server then identifies the inhabitant of the building and retrieves profile data associated with the identified inhabitant; the server then, based on the profile data, generates an instruction to modify one or more conditions within the building (e.g., the environmental conditions of the building) and transmits the instruction to one or more devices (e.g., an environmental device) within the building.
