Abstract: A server to process a tab for a customer at a merchant premises may provide a list of candidate merchant premises to a customer mobile device, receive a signal indicating a user selection of one of the candidate merchant premises, receive payment card details for the customer mobile device, obtain a specific code for a tab at the selected merchant premises, send to the customer mobile device the specific code, receive a signal from a Point of Sale (POS) terminal of the selected merchant premises, associate the customer mobile device with an open tab maintained by the POS terminal, receive from the POS terminal at least one identifier and amount for each purchase of the open tab, request payment of at least a portion of a balance of the open tab from a payment gateway using the payment card details, and notify the POS terminal of the payment.

Abstract: Provided are a method and system for effecting a pre-paid redeemable transaction. The method comprises generating payment request data associated with a benefactor on a payer application; the payment request data comprises redeemable payment data associated with a predetermined beneficiary which is valid for a predetermined time period. The payment request data is forwarded from the payer application to a payment server. The payment server initates a payment transaction from a source account associated with the benefactor to a predetermined account in response to receiving the payment request data. The payment transaction is refunded to the source account from the predetermined account if the beneficiary fails to validate the redeemable payment data within the predetermined time period.

Abstract: A method for transmitting line item data from an electronic receipt comprising storing a plurality of receipt data entries affiliated with a consumer account based on a consumer identifier. The method comprises storing a plurality of merchant identifiers affiliated with one or more product data files for products sold by a merchant. The method further receives a transaction message for a payment transaction using the consumer identifier via a payment network and executes a query on the electronic receipt database from a first consumer device to identify one or more products purchased in the payment transaction. The method generates an electronic receipt displaying purchase information for the one or more products and links the purchase information on the electronic receipt to the product data file for the one or more products for transmittal.

Abstract: A method for assisting in loan brokering using transaction data includes: storing a plurality of account profiles, wherein each account profile includes data related to a transaction account including at least an account identifier and transaction data corresponding to a plurality of payment transactions involving the related transaction account; receiving a loan request from an entity, wherein the loan request includes a specific account identifier associated with the entity and one or more requested terms; receiving a data request from a loan provider; identifying a specific account profile stored in the account database where the included account identifier corresponds to the specific account identifier; and transmitting at least the one or more requested terms included in the received loan request and the transaction data included in the identified specific account profile to the loan provider in response to the received data request.

The method is performed by a cloud computing system and includes operating a processor associated with the cloud computing system to: analyse vehicle data collated from one or more vehicles remote from the cloud computing system to generate processed vehicle data; and configure the processed vehicle data to be accessed through a portal of each of the user computing devices.

Abstract: There is provided a system and a method for payment transaction receipt management. The system and method include an electronic storage device having one or more databases of payment transaction receipt data stored therein; an access path for allowing access to the payment transaction receipt data; and a processor for assembling the payment transaction receipt data in the one or more databases and providing the assembled payment transaction receipt data to one or more entities that have been granted access to the one or more databases. The receipt management system and method are based on payment transaction receipt data across a plurality of merchants. This cross merchant approach provides customers with an efficient solution for managing all of their receipts. This cross merchant approach allows merchants to offer better and more targeted recommendations for customers which in turn can boost sales and customer satisfaction.
