Abstract: Apparatus and methods are described for use with an image of blood vessels of a subject. In response to a user designating a single point on the image (a) a target portion of a blood vessel is automatically identified in the vicinity of the designated point, and (b) quantitative vessel analysis is performed on the target portion of the blood vessel. An output is generated based upon the quantitative vessel analysis. Other embodiments are also described.

Abstract: Systems and methods for replicating input-output (I/O) events of a cluster shared volume (CSV) are presented. Such systems may include a cluster device or node (in a cluster of devices), a coordinator node, and a replica server. Replication techniques disclosed herein may include capturing, using a processor operatively associated with a cluster device, a direct I/O event generated at the cluster device (e.g., by a virtual machine). A legacy file system filter driver of the cluster device may be used and enabled to perform the capturing of the direct I/O event. The legacy file system filter driver may be different than a CSV filter driver associated with the CSV, and may be enabled after the CSV filter driver is enabled. The captured direct I/O event may then be transmitted to the replica server using, e.g., a replication filter, to maintain a backup copy of the event at the replica server.

Abstract: Systems and methods of measuring a temporal offset between audio content and video content that employ audio fingerprints from an audio signal in the audio content, and video fingerprints from video frames in the video content. The systems obtain reference audio and video fingerprints prior to transmission of video over a media channel, and obtain target audio and video fingerprints subsequent to transmission of the video over the media channel. Each fingerprint has an associated time stamp. Using the reference and target audio fingerprints and their associated time stamps, the systems determine an audio time stamp offset. Using the reference and target video fingerprints and their associated time stamps, the systems determine a video time stamp offset. Using the audio and video time stamp offsets, the systems determine a temporal offset between the video content and the audio content introduced by the media channel.

Abstract: A computer management system may track services on multiple computers executing the same workload. Various performance counters may be retrieved from the computers and analyzed to identify those with low deviations and low mean deviations. Statistical tests may then be used to compare the values of a particular computer to the deviation of the group of computers to identify outliers, which may indicate degraded performance and imminent failure of the computer. The management system may analyze any collectable performance related parameter to identify outlying systems.

Abstract: Provided are a circuit control system and method for dynamically adjusting voltage and frequency. The circuit control system herein includes: a lookup table module configured to store a combined table of voltage-frequency corresponding relation curves of a target circuit under one or more working conditions; a converting module configured to make conversion between a working voltage and a working frequency of the target circuit according to the lookup table module; and a combined adjusting module configured to combinedly adjust the working frequency and the working voltage of the target circuit. With a high degree of automation, the circuit control system herein is safe and reliable for adjusting the working voltage and the working frequency of the target circuit, thereby achieving the effects of adjustment and optimization.

The towbarless airplane tug includes a chassis configured for receiving thereon at least a portion of the landing gear, and a propulsion arrangement configured to move the towbarless airplane tug in a direction along a trajectory. The towbarless airplane tug further includes a controller configured to compare between the actual speed of the towbarless airplane tug, when towing the airplane, and a predetermined desired speed thereof, and to direct the propulsion arrangement to maintain the actual speed of the towbarless airplane tug if: the actual speed is lower than the desired speed, and the actual speed was maintained within a predefined speed range during a predefined period that preceded the comparing.
