    Abstract: The present invention discloses a laser repairing apparatus for a display panel, which comprises a laser generating device, a bearing device, a backlight, a first polarizer, a second polarizer and an image generating device, the laser generating device is located above the bearing device, the first polarizer is located between the backlight and the bearing device, and the second polarizer is located between the image generating device and the bearing device. In the technical solution of the present invention, the first polarizer and the second polarizer are used to control the amount of light transmittance of the transmission light, and the human eye can identify the exact positions of the defective pixels quickly and accurately by means of the transmission image having overall low brightness, and consequently, the time required for the whole repairing process is shortened.

    Abstract: A display device includes an array substrate and a color filter substrate. The array substrate including data lines in a periphery circuit area, and the color filter substrate including a common electrode. A portion of the common electrode of the color filter substrate corresponding to the periphery circuit area of the array substrate includes a plurality of stripe electrodes separated from each other, extending in a length direction of the data lines and overlapped with the data lines. For each data line, two adjacent stripe electrodes among the plurality of stripe electrodes overlapped with the data line are connected through a bypass electrode which is substantially not overlapped with the data line. In case of the data lines being broken or shorted with the common electrode, the data line can be repaired by using a separate stripe electrode, thereby enabling normal operation of the circuitry.

The counter substrate region is a projection region of a counter substrate on the array substrate after the counter substrate and the array substrate are bonded together. One end of several data lines is disposed in one data pad region, and the plurality of data pad regions are disposed on one side of the array substrate and positioned outside the counter substrate region. The data repair line is provided inside the counter substrate region, along an edge of the counter substrate region and is proximate to the plurality of data pad regions.
