    Abstract: A system and methods for delivering real-time targeted marketing offers (“TMOs”) to consumers during a session with an online (web-based) Internet portal, particularly suitable for financial institution portals of financial institutions. An offer management system (“OMS”) receives information corresponding to an advertising campaign of an advertiser corresponding to terms of a TMO to be provided to a consumer accessing the financial institution portal, and provides advertising campaign data corresponding to the TMO and to an offer-triggering event (“OTE”) to an offer placement system (“OPS”). An OPS receives the advertising campaign data, determines the occurrence of the OTE by a consumer during an online session with the financial institution portal, and delivers information corresponding to the TMO to the consumer. In response to the OTE, such as display of a list of transactions, the predetermined TMO is delivered to the consumer during the online session.

    Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide systems and methods for a partially supervised training model for online action detection. Specifically, the online action detection framework may include two modules that are trained jointly—a Temporal Proposal Generator (TPG) and an Online Action Recognizer (OAR). In the training phase, OAR performs both online per-frame action recognition and start point detection. At the same time, TPG generates class-wise temporal action proposals serving as noisy supervisions for OAR. TPG is then optimized with the video-level annotations. In this way, the online action detection framework can be trained with video-category labels only without pre-annotated segment-level boundary labels.

A methodology implementing the techniques according to an embodiment includes generating an intermediate representation (IR) of provided media content, the IR specifying editable elements of the content and maintaining a result of cumulative edits to those elements. The method also includes editing the elements of the IR to generate a set of candidate IR variations. The method further includes creating a set of candidate media contents based on the candidate IR variations, evaluating the candidate media contents to generate effectiveness scores, and pruning the set of candidate IR variations to retain a threshold number of the candidate IR variations as surviving IR variations associated with the highest effectiveness scores. The process iterates until either an effectiveness score exceeds a threshold value, the incremental improvement at each iteration falls below a desired value, or a maximum number of iterations have been performed.

The model may be trained on a standard (e.g. non-manipulated) image set but used with manipulated target images and the described techniques to provide accurate object detection.

    Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide unsupervised density-based clustering to infer table structure from document. Specifically, a number of words are identified from a block of text in an noneditable document, and the spatial coordinates of each word relative to the rectangular region are identified. Based on the word density of the rectangular region, the words are grouped into clusters using a heuristic radius search method. Words that are grouped into the same cluster are determined to be the element that belong to the same cell. In this way, the cells of the table structure can be identified. Once the cells are identified based on the word density of the block of text, the identified cells can be expanded horizontally or grouped vertically to identify rows or columns of the table structure.
