  • Patent number: 10379122
Abstract: Disclosed herein methods, compositions, and kits for obtaining a normalized measured amount of a target in a sample by measuring the amount of the target in the sample by contacting the sample with a detection reagent, measuring the amount of a ligand known to be absent in the sample being tested by contacting the sample with a control reagent, and obtaining the normalized measured amount of the target by calculating the ratio of the measured amount of the target to the measured amount of the ligand.

  • Publication number: 20190178881
Abstract: Described herein are virus-like particles (VLPs) that were generated to present the viral glycoprotein antigens on their surface, coupled to magnetic fluorescent microspheres to create VLP-conjugated microspheres (VCMs) and methods of making them. These VCMs were stable when lyophilized and stored at 37° C. and able to detect antibodies in non-human primate (NHP) and human clinical sera at dilutions of 1×105 and 1×104, respectively. Methods are also disclosed for detecting an immune response using VCMs.

  • Patent number: 7563875
Abstract: In this application is described the production of recombinant, chimeric, humanized antibodies specific for both BoNt/A and BoNT/B. The humanized antibodies were converted from a mouse anti-BoNT/A/B Fab fragment into a whole human IgG1 antibody. The antibodies are useful in assays for detecting human exposure to BoNT/A and BoNT/B.
