  • Publication number: 20070209705
Abstract: A drain valve for a vehicle compressed air system. The drain valve including a body portion is adapted to separate water, debris and other relatively heavy objects from a compressed air stream passing through the valve and a gladhand portion capable of connecting to a gladhand connector. The drain may also include a pressure actuated valve and drain port for automatically discharging water from the drain valve.

  • Publication number: 20070028777
Abstract: A purge valve for use with an air drying system is provided. The valve includes a housing or body, a piston disposed within the body, and a valve in communication with the piston. The respective geometries of the piston body and the valve define a circumferential cavity between and around the piston body and the valve. A sealing means is disposed within the circumferential cavity for forming a seal between the valve and the body. A plurality of guide members attached to or formed integrally with the valve provide positional stability to the valve within the body and provide enhanced airflow in, through, and around the valve.

  • Publication number: 20060267308
Abstract: A step lighting assembly is provided that is adapted for interconnection to a retractable step assembly generally found on recreational vehicles. One embodiment of the present invention includes a light bar with at least one motion sensor interconnected to a light source. The light bar thus provides light that illuminates the edge of the step when one approaches the vehicle or exits the vehicle thereby increasing safety.

  • Publication number: 20060162778
Abstract: A drain valve for a vehicle compressed air system, which separates dirt, water, debris and other relatively heavy objects from a compressed air stream. The drain valve includes a sump with a tangential inlet. The tangential inlet creates a vortex within the sump that collects relatively heavy objects at the bottom of the sump and allows the compressed air to exit the drain valve through an outlet port located at the top of the drain valve. A pressure actuated valve and drain port allows for the water to be discharged from the drain valve while retaining the pneumatic signal.

  • Patent number: 6966950
Abstract: A system for internally filling a joint or other discontinuity in a pipeline. The system includes a flexible conduit, a fill device removably connected to said flexible conduit, wherein the fill device is constructed and arranged to apply a fill material to an interior surface of said pipeline to fill one or more gaps in the pipeline, and a propulsion unit connected to at least one of the flexible conduit and the fill device that propels the flexible conduit through said pipeline.

  • Patent number: 6514346
Abstract: Joints or other discontinuities in live gas pipelines are sealed by spraying the joint or discontinuity with a coating material by means of an explosion-resistant coating device (10), capable of traversing long lengths of pipe (14). The coating device is inserted into the pipe and uses an explosion-resistant camera (44) for locating joints or other discontinuities in the pipe. The preferred coating material is a high build epoxy-type elastomeric polyurethane (48), which quickly cures in the presence of pressurized flowing gas. Several joints or discontinuities, spanning several hundred feet of pipe, may be coated using a single excavation.

  • Patent number: 6180169
Abstract: Joints or other discontinuities in a live gas pipeline are sealed by attaching an insertion duct to the exterior of the pipeline, inserting a spraying device into the pipeline through the insertion duct, mechanically orienting the spraying device adjacent the joint or other discontinuity and spraying a coating material onto the interior surface of the pipeline wherein the coating material may be applied and will cure in the presence of pressurized flowing gas.

Abstract: Joints or other discontinuities in live gas pipelines are sealed by spraying the joint or discontinuity with a coating material by means of an explosion-proof coating device, capable of traversing long lengths of pipe. The coating device is inserted into the pipe and uses a halogen lit explosion-proof camera for locating joints or other discontinuities in the pipe. The preferred coating material is a high build epoxy-type elastomeric polyurethane, which quickly cures in the presence of pressurized flowing gas. Several joints or discontinuities, spanning several hundred feet of pipe, may be coated using a single excavation.
