    Abstract: A modular ski rack, the modular units of which can be connected end to end to form an extended, linear rack which can be mounted on a vertical surface, or as a free standing polygonal structure. Each modular unit consists of two parallel, linear rows of spaced, staggered, and vertically oriented pockets into which the tail end of the skis are inserted and supported in an upright, vertical position, the staggered arrangement of the pockets permitting close packing of the skis without entanglement with the skis in the adjacent pockets.
