Abstract: System resources on a computer system are conserved by controlling the applications that use those system resources. This can be accomplished by monitoring an indication of use of a system resource by a plurality of applications, determining whether the indication of use exceeds a predetermined threshold of use, if the indication of use exceeds the predetermined threshold of use then bundling the applications using that system resource into a resource group, and assigning a resource usage rate to the resource group for a period of time, the assigned resource usage rate being below the indication of use of that system resource, and the assigned resource usage rate applying collectively to the applications in the resource group.

Abstract: The novel system of the present invention includes a plurality of moveable markers, such as cones, having two visually contrasting indicators useful for physically and visually demarcating activity zones. The markers can be dispersed spatially, such as being placed on the ground or on posts, to demarcate areas, zones, regions or boundaries, for conducting an activity, such as soccer practice. The system is useful to guide, instruct, monitor or constrain the activity of an individual, or object. Alignment of the markers can visually separate one zone from another zone so as to indicate different activities for each zone.

A tapered conduit defined by a wide end and a narrow end integrally joins with the vessel through the wide end, and detachably attaches to the bottle through the narrow end. The liquid is aerated while flowing from narrow end, to wide end, and finally into the vessel. A silicone sleeve having ribs encapsulates a longitudinal portion of the conduit. The ribs engage an inner surface of the bottle neck to create a self-tapping rotatable action in the bottle neck, and a seal against the inner surface of bottle neck. The vessel joins a stand to remain upright.

In one embodiment, the communication system includes an architect subsystem configured to build, test and deploy a model based on sensor characteristics of the system. The sensor characteristics are from at least one of an operator input, a historical input, a specification input, and a subject-matter expert input. The communication system also includes an edge subsystem configured to receive said model and perform predictive and prescriptive analytics on sensor data from said system running on said model deployed at said edge.

The bulbous end portion includes fibers that have been splayed apart which provides larger surface area for adhesively bonding the bulbous end portion to the in-the ear component or the behind-the-ear component. In one form, the reinforcing backbone includes ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene.

Each of the first end section and the second end section is positioned to extend beyond a threshold of the opening and abut the inside surface. Each of the first end section and the second end section prevent the individual from slipping between the inside surface and the central section.

In a particular embodiment, a method provides receiving, from a wireless communication device, a request to establish a communication session over a communication network, wherein the communication network exchanges messages using a Diameter authentication, authorization, and accounting protocol. in response to receiving the request, the method provides determining a home PGW for the wireless communication device and adding an indication of the home PGW to a Diameter message for establishing the communication session. Based on the indication of the home PGW, the method provides routing the Diameter message to establish the communication session between the wireless communication device and the home PGW.
