    Abstract: The rain gutter debris prophylactic system has a first panel member and a second panel member joined by a trough with drains in the bottom. The trough helps regulate water flow, discourages water accumulation on the surface or the formation of icicles on the edge of the prophylactic. The front edge of the trough forms a water accelerator. In addition the drains formed in the trough allow the prophylactic to be bent by hand to match the angle formed between the roof and the gutter without heavy equipment such as hand brakes. Multiple sections may be bent simultaneously. Finally the system combines at least three water flow management techniques, namely a first set of drain holes, pooling ridges and a curved nose to conduct water over the edge of the gutter.

    Abstract: A method of producing paperboard and cartons made therefrom is described incorporating a waterproof or water resistant coating applied to the interior of the carton except for areas intended for gluing. A coating material is applied to the surface of an applicator roll, and a portion of the coating material is then removed from the roll. Contact between a paperboard web and the roll transfers coating material to the web, creating a coated surface except for an uncoated stripe. A carton may be formed from the coated web with the uncoated portion of the carton cut from the uncoated strip.

The delivery system is adapted to fit along with the payload within a standardized canister. The delivery system includes a parafoil and a guidance control system that includes a global positioning system (GPS) receiver and an electronic compass to detect a deviation and bearing from a desired target. The parafoil is guided by a single motor that turns the parafoil in a horizontal direction perpendicular to the current direction of travel in response to deviations detected from a desired course. The desired course is initially linear until the system reaches a predetermined horizontal radius from the target and then the course becomes a circular path around and above the target.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for dental procedures using a dental hydrojet tool having a cannula extending therefrom. The cannula is connected to a source of high pressure liquid, and delivers a high velocity, high pressure jet. For root canal procedures, the cannula is directed through an opening formed in the crown of the tooth, and the hydrojet is directed at the pulp, nerve and vascular tissue within the interior chamber. The jet may comprise medical-grade saline, disinfectant, antibiotic or abrasive solutions. All the soft tissue within the tooth is cut, excised, emulsified, and aspirated out of the tooth. The time required to excise, emulsify, and aspirate all the soft tissue within a typical molar is on the order of 10-240 seconds. The interior chamber of the tooth is completely aspirated and verified visually for completion of removal of all soft tissue, and then packed with an appropriate filler material, and the opening in the top of the tooth is filled or provided with a prosthetic crown.
