Abstract: A material handling lift including safety features for reducing the risk of injury to a user. The features may include one or more of: a roller shade for covering components of a mast, a scanner for detecting people in a protected area of the lift, a fan for preventing accumulation of dust on the scanner, spacers between a lift platform and a side guard panel, perforated side guard panels to allow viewing of a space under the lift, entrance guards to keep people away from the side and front of the lift, a power unit with dual redundant locking valves, and tamper-resistant fasteners for fastening a rear panel to a mast.

Abstract: A shipping container for a product mounted on casters, weighing on the order of about 150 to 300 pounds and including a box shaped housing. The shipping container comprises a base. A pair of elongated, parallel disposed and spaced apart support members are fixedly mounted on the top of the base. Each support member includes a block of foam material fixedly mounted onto the base and having a tapered front end and a rear end. A strip of low friction material is fixedly mounted on top of the block of foam material. In use, the product is rolled up the ramp, pushed up the tapered front end of each support member and then slid along the support members to the rear ends thereof. The support members are sized and disposed on the base so that the casters of the product are suspended on either side of the support members and spaced upward from the base when the product is resting on the support members.

Abstract: A tank for use in a system that outputs a liquid at a user defined constant temperature in order to regulate the temperature of a piece of equipment includes a body of material having a top wall and a plurality of other walls which collectively define a chamber for receiving and storing the liquid. The top wall of the body of material has a manual fill port for pouring new fluid into the chamber and one of the other walls includes an outlet port for discharging fluid stored in the chamber. An auxiliary port is located on the manual fill port and a return fluid port is located on the auto refill port. The body of material further includes a well which extends down into the chamber from an opening in top wall of the tank and which can be removed. The well is sized to accommodate a deionizer cartridge. When the well is removed, either a heater or an immersion pump can be disposed within the chamber.
