  • Publication number: 20230405644
Abstract: Systems, assemblies, and methods to enhance extraction of pyrophoric materials from a refinery apparatus may include supplying a pressurized fluid to a plurality of vacuum generators, and generating, via the plurality of vacuum generators using the pressurized fluid, a vacuum flow. A manifold may provide a flow path for the vacuum flow, and pyrophoric material may be extracted from the refinery apparatus via the vacuum flow to a material collector through which the vacuum flow passes, depositing at least a portion of the extracted pyrophoric material in the material collector. One or more of inert gas or a cooling medium may be supplied to the material collector.

  • Publication number: 20230340957
Abstract: Assemblies, apparatuses, and methods to extract or convey a material from a source of the material may include a vacuum generation and sound attenuation assembly. The vacuum generation and sound attenuation assembly may include a compressor housing having a vacuum source, a cooling system, and a vacuum controller. The vacuum source may include a compressor powered by an electric motor and positioned to cause a vacuum flow between the source of the material, and the vacuum generation and sound attenuation assembly. The vacuum generation and sound attenuation assembly may further include a sound attenuation chamber positioned to receive at least a portion of the vacuum flow from, and attenuate sound generated by, the vacuum source. The compressor housing and sound attenuation chamber of the vacuum generation and sound attenuation assembly may be arranged compactly on a common chassis for ease of transport and deployment.

  • Publication number: 20230010206
Abstract: Assemblies, apparatuses, and methods to extract or convey a material from a source of the material may include a vacuum generation and sound attenuation assembly and a material receiver to enhance conveyance the material from the source of the material. The vacuum generation and sound attenuation assembly may include a vacuum source positioned to cause a vacuum flow between the source of the material, the material receiver, and the vacuum generation and sound attenuation assembly. The vacuum generation and sound attenuation assembly may further include a sound attenuation chamber positioned to receive at least a portion of the vacuum flow from, and attenuate sound generated by, the vacuum source. The material receiver may be positioned an elevated location relative to a source of the material and be capable of staging and metering the conveyance of material when moving material at the top of a structure, such as a refinery tower.

  • Publication number: 20230010635
Abstract: Assemblies and method to extract a material from a material source may include a vacuum and material collector assembly to enhance extraction of the material from the material source. The vacuum and material collector assembly may include a material collector comprising a high volume pressure vessel having an interior and a high-pressure vacuum source pneumatically coupled to the pressure vessel. The vacuum source is operable to generate a high-pressure vacuum of a fluid flow through the interior of the pressure vessel to extract the waste material from the waste material source into the interior of the pressure vessel. The vacuum source may be connected to the pressure vessel of the material collector to form a unified vacuum and material collector assembly which may be supported on a single mobile chassis.

  • Publication number: 20230009143
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and devices for removal of undesired materials are disclosed. Production of desired materials may result in the production of undesired materials. The systems, methods, apparatuses, and devices, may provide for removal of the undesired materials from various environments (e.g., industrial, commercial, residential, natural, etc.). The undesired materials may be removed in a substantially continuous manner and may limit or prevent contamination of an ambient environment with the undesired materials. The undesired materials may be removed with high-pressure vacuum through a fluid flow path that keeps the undesired materials from the ambient environment.

  • Publication number: 20230011157
Abstract: Assemblies and methods to extract materials from a retention collection may include a vacuum source including a series of vacuum generators configured to generate a vacuum flow to create a suction between the retention collection and a material collector for extraction of the material from the retention collection and transfer to the material collector. The suction generated by the vacuum flow will be sufficient to draw-in and convey the material in liquid, semi-solid and substantially solid states from the retention collection along a collection conduit and into the material collector for disposal. The vacuum generation assembly may include a filter and sound attenuation chamber connected to the vacuum source configured to receive and filter a vacuum exhaust fluid/air flow portion of the vacuum flow and to attenuate sound generated by the vacuum source.
