    Abstract: Herein disclosed is a coupling member which cooperates with a roller bar having a peripheral retainer channel and is used to attach an object, such as an awning to the roller bar. The member is of one-piece, integral construction and includes a hook-shaped portion which is capable of grasping and securing an object when attached thereto and a retainer channel engagement portion, with its engagement portion being of a shape and size to slidably engage within a peripheral retainer channel.
