Publication number: 20210228354Abstract: The disclosure provides valve prostheses and methods of installation. One embodiment of the prosthesis has a generally tubular body adapted for placement proximate a mitral annulus. The tubular body has a generally tubular upper portion adapted to substantially reside in the left atrium above the mitral annulus. The generally tubular upper portion has a first circumferential wall that is outwardly biased to urge against cardiac tissue of the left atrium. The tubular body also includes a lower portion extending downwardly from the generally tubular upper portion, the lower portion being configured to substantially reside in the left ventricle below the mitral annulus. The lower portion of this embodiment can be defined by an generally circumferential wall that extends downwardly from the generally tubular upper portion. The generally circumferential wall has a first circumferential end and a second circumferential end, and defines a circumferential extent therebetween.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 30, 2020Publication date: July 29, 2021Inventors: Nasser Rafiee, G. Patent number: 7746972Abstract: A numerically-controlled phase-lock loop with input clock dependent ratio adjustment provides for narrower-bandwidth loops that lock to a wide range of frequencies and/or operation with an absent or degraded input timing reference. A timing reference characteristic detector determines an input frequency range of the input timing reference signal, the data type of the timing reference, and/or whether a timing reference signal of sufficient quality is present. A numerically controlled oscillator is controlled by a numeric ratio that is adjusted to provide the desired clock frequency output in conformity with the detected frequency range and/or data type. If the timing reference signal is absent or degraded, then the numeric ratio can be set to a fixed value or a local timing reference can be applied in order to generate the desired clock output frequency.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 2007Date of Patent: June 29, 2010Assignee: Cirrus Logic, Inc.Inventors: John L. Melanson, Zhong You, Scott Allan Woodford, Steven Randall Green

Patent number: 7680236Abstract: A hybrid analog/digital phase-lock loop for low-jitter synchronization provides a mechanism for generating a low-jitter clock from a timing reference that has a high jitter level. A numerically-controlled analog oscillator provides a clock output and has an input for receiving a rational number. The rational number represents a ratio between the frequency of the clock output and the frequency of another stable clock provided to the circuit. A counter divides the frequency of either the clock output or the stable clock, providing feedback or feed-forward control of the analog oscillator, respectively. The circuit also includes a digital phase-frequency detector for detecting an on-going phase-frequency difference between an input timing reference and an output of the divider and a digital loop filter for filtering the output of the phase-frequency detector to provide the rational number that controls the frequency of the numerically-controlled analog oscillator.Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 2006Date of Patent: March 16, 2010Assignee: Cirrus Logic, Inc.Inventors: John L. Publication number: 20080076308Abstract: The invention is a direct replacement for conventional propellers on aquatic vehicles that utilize them. The cincture (26) (26A) being a integral part with the propeller makes a significant improvement over conventional propellers. Being so manufactured means that it can be conformed to virtually all types of propeller applications. Such as mounting requirements, the number of helical screws (20), their pitch and direction of rotation, and rear or forward mounted propellers. The cincture (26) (26A) being of one piece with the propeller means it is of the same material (plastic, aluminum, stainless steel, teflon, bronze, etc, etc.) as the propeller. Giving an enhanced performance and safety capability in a single article of manufacture for each desired application. Being beneficial not only for the owner, but the aquatic vehicle and its surroundings.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 10, 2007Publication date: March 27, 2008Inventor: Steven Randall Green

Publication number: 20070222211Abstract: A brake hose fitting having a fitting body and an eyelet. The fitting body includes a mounting portion, an elongate portion and a crimping sleeve. The elongate portion defines a passage extending radially outwardly from an opening in the mounting portion. The crimping sleeve is located near the opposite end of the passage. The brake hose fitting also includes an eyelet. The eyelet has first and second ends with a bore extending therebetween. The eyelet also includes a radially projecting flange. First and second longitudinal sections of the eyelet are located on opposite sides of the flange. The first longitudinal section is at least partially disposed in the passage and has a radially exterior surface sealingly engaged with the fitting body. An annular space for receiving a brake hose is defined between the second longitudinal section of the eyelet and the crimping sleeve. A method of manufacture is also provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 27, 2006Publication date: September 27, 2007Inventors: David Reuter, Michael Chisom, Randall Green, Frank Pirrello

Publication number: 20050264060Abstract: A versatile chair having a back assembly, a seat assembly and a leg assembly. Two brackets are formed on the leg assembly and create an axis of rotation for the back assembly and for the seat assembly independent of the back assembly. The back assembly rotates due to a user's weight. The seat assembly is rotated manually. The chair is stackable and nestable with identically structured chairs. A tension system is aligned on an oblique axis to bias the back assembly to an upright position. The tension system is mounted within front legs of the leg assembly.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 28, 2004Publication date: December 1, 2005Inventors: William Cesaroni, Shawn Barrett, Curtis Cruver, Joseph Keitel, James Groulx, Randall Green, Ronald Lewis

Patent number: 6403909Abstract: A circuit breaker assembly includes first and second rotary contact assemblies mountable to a base member, a circuit breaker operating mechanism mounted to the first rotary contact assembly, and a trip bar in mechanical communication with the first rotary contact assembly and the circuit breaker operating mechanism. The rotary contact assemblies each include rotors rotatable about axes therethrough and movable contact arms pivotally mounted within the rotors. The circuit breaker operating mechanism serves to position the rotors to separate movable contacts thereon from fixed contacts. A trip override device includes spring links operably connected via springs to each of the rotors of the rotary contact assemblies and the trip bar. The trip bar comprises trip levers protruding radially therefrom and being in mechanical communication with the rotary contact assemblies.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2000Date of Patent: June 11, 2002Assignee: General Electric CompanyInventors: Randall Green, Roger Castonguay, Dave Christensen, Girish Hassan
