  • Publication number: 20240065187
Abstract: An irrigation system having a pipeline supported by one or more towers includes an improved truss connection system having a means for readily adjusting a crown height of the pipeline. A pair of cooperating members define a joint which selectively couples headed ends of adjacent truss rods together to form a truss rail of a truss system that supports the pipeline. A single fastener may fasten the cooperating members, a strut, and a cross-member together at the joint. A length of the truss rail may be decreased by holding the truss rods closer together. In an aspect, the headed ends of the adjacent truss rods are held closer together by inserting a shim in one of the joints. Decreasing the length of the truss rail increases the deflection of the pipeline and raises the crown height.

  • Publication number: 20190381355
Abstract: Various implementations of a “Shared Location-Dependent Perspective Renderer” render background scenes onto shared display devices that are virtually segmented into two or more virtual viewports. Each virtual viewport corresponds to a separate physical region positioned relative the shared display. Each viewport is further defined by different virtual camera FOVs and vanishing points relative to the shared display. Physical objects launched towards the shared display from any physical region are rendered into the corresponding viewport as visible virtual objects based on both physical object trajectories and the corresponding vanishing point. Target objects rendered into the background scene from the perspective of any virtual viewport are also separately positioned into one or more of the other viewports as invisible virtual objects based, in part, on the vanishing points associated with those other virtual viewports.

  • Patent number: 8829905
Abstract: A switched mode power supply (SMPS) employs only energy storage components that are devoid of ferromagnetic materials. The SMPS operates only at switching frequencies such that any potential electromagnetic interference of interest is generated at frequencies appearing only outside the imaging bandwidth of a corresponding magnetic resonance imaging system powered by the SMPS.

  • Publication number: 20050037655
Abstract: An electrical connector assembly is shown having a stamped and formed shielded cage having a plurality of ports for receiving SFP modules. The cages have an opening extending through a lower face thereof for receiving a header connector having first and second extensions which are aligned with the first and second columnar ports in the cage. Thus, the SFP modules are pluggable into individual ports, whereby two modules are interconnected to a single header connector interconnected to a motherboard.

  • Patent number: 6788063
Abstract: A transient noise detection system includes an imaging system having a magnetic field coil and an imaging bore. The imaging system generates an imaging signal through a signal cable, wherein the imaging signal is corruptible by a noise event. A noise event detector is positioned outside of the imaging bore and proximate to the signal cable. This detector detects the noise event from the signal cable and generates a noise signal therefrom.

  • Patent number: 6589346
Abstract: An apparatus for and method of coating the outer surface of a non-rotating pipe with a fluid including a fluid reservoir for containing fluid to be discharged onto the surface of a pipe, and a pipe receiving chamber extending through and separate from the fluid reservoir. The apparatus further includes a fluid application assembly having a plurality of fluid intake openings positioned in the fluid reservoir for the intake of fluid therefrom. The fluid intake openings are rotatable in a circular pattern within the reservoir about a path extending through the chamber. The assembly has a plurality of fluid discharge outlets in fluid communication with the fluid intake openings and directed towards the path. The fluid discharge outlets are rotatable in unison with the fluid intake openings about the path, whereby fluid entering the fluid intake openings from the reservoir is discharged through the fluid discharge outlets to coat the outer surface of a pipe being conveyed along the path.
