    Abstract: Improvements in an expandable stand with an adjustable travel stop within a musical instrument stand or elevating speaker is presented. The stand supports some weight of the instrument or speaker to relieve the weight. The stand has a securing mechanism that grasps a tubular section to hold the musical instrument. The stand is collapsible to fit within or can be carried with the case for the instrument. The speaker stand can be easily collapsed for transportation and storage. An adjustable travel stop for the travel stop to be inserted and removed from the inner tube diameter. The ability to insert and remove the travel stop allows the extension or the travel of the lift to be adjustable by moving the travel stop within the tube. The travel stop can be used to stop the travel length and or to establish the starting point for expansion.

The holder allows adjustment for positioning about the user, and pivoting of the holder to allow the holder to pivot or rotate up to allow the holder with instruments to fit a narrower space. The holder further allows for pivotal attachment of individual drums to link or pivot allowing the linked drums to articulate. The holder can also consist of members that allow a connected drum to move in horizontal position, angle, or height of the drum. A plurality of unique drum connecting members is disclosed that allow the connecting members to connect onto drum tension rods or on a drum lug. A lift assisting mechanism is used to assist in lifts drums from a horizontal to a vertical orientation.

    Abstract: A low-density, high-strength concrete composition that is both self-compacting and lightweight, with a low weight-fraction of aggregate to total dry raw materials, and a highly-homogenous distribution of a non-absorptive and closed-cell lightweight aggregate such as glass microspheres or copolymer polymer beads or a combination thereof, and the steps of providing the composition or components. Lightweight concretes formed therefrom have low density, high strength-to-weight ratios, and high R-value. The concrete has strength similar to that ordinarily found in structural lightweight concrete but at an oven-dried density as low as 40 lbs./cu.ft. The concrete, at the density ordinarily found in structural lightweight concrete, has a higher strength and, at the strength ordinarily found in structural lightweight concrete, a lower density. Such strength-to-density ratios range approximately from above 30 cu.ft/sq.in. to above 110 cu.ft/sq.in., with a 28-day compressive strength ranging from about 3400 to 8000 psi.

    Abstract: A tree/shrub protector includes a circular underground drip reservoir that may hold about seven gallons of water and extended about eighteen inches underground. It focuses water and nutrients onto a root ball to encourage downward root growth. Above ground modules include a hard shell reservoir that provides pest protection as well. Another above ground module is a wire type protective fence and/or trellis that has reservoirs as well. A second embodiment has a grill or fence having spikes driven into the ground for support. One or more water reservoirs are integrated into the fence. Variable flow drip tubes feed underground drip pipes from the reservoirs. Vertical poles have uses including tree support, holding a winter shroud, and supporting a fence and/or trellis. The fence is modular to fit inside a thin box. An optional anti-rodent spiked ring is included. All embodiments can reduce returns to a tree vendor.

Each of the load devices may have a plug connector, and each of the load-side connectors may be mechanically coded to receive the plug connector of a corresponding load device. An electrical configuration of electrical terminals of a line-side connector may allow a crankcase heater, or a crankcase heater with thermostat, to receive electrical power.

    Abstract: A system for igniting a grill can include a solenoid valve, a flame rectification sensor, an igniter, and a control circuit connected to the solenoid valve and the flame rectification sensor. The solenoid valve controls flow of gas to the grill's burner and includes a switch that closes when a handle connected to the switch opens the solenoid valve. The control circuit sends current to the solenoid valve when the switch is closed to hold the solenoid valve open. After the switch closes, the igniter is ignited. After ignition, the control circuit monitors the presence of a flame with a flame rectification sensor. If no flame is detected after a certain amount of time, the control circuit stops sending current to the solenoid valve to close the solenoid valve.
