Abstract: A flexible, protective water sport footwear has a stretchy, flexible material configured to form at least one pair of booties that covers an entirety of a person's feet and ankles when worn; and a plurality of puncture resistant, non-stretchy protective materials attached in a pattern to at least one of an inner and outer side of the at least one pair of booties, the pattern providing coverage of a majority of the person's sole, toes, and arch, wherein a comfort and flexibility of the at least one pair of booties is preserved because the pattern provides gaps being occupied by the flexible material, the gaps at least being between the person's toes and arch, and along the person's Achilles tendon.

The data processing system can receive a cost-per-incremental-action (“CPIA”) bid from a content provider computing device. The data processing system can calculate a value of expected incremental actions from serving a first candidate online ad corresponding to the CPIA bid, and use it to translate the CPIA bid to an auction bid. The data processing system can select a winning online ad from among the first candidate online ad and additional candidate online ads based on their respective corresponding auction bids. The data processing system can transmit the winning online ad to the client computing device.

Abstract: A clamp comprising a top and a base each having a body and at least one arm that is cantilevered away from the body. The top has a through hole that passes through the body. The base is a separate part from the top and comprises a stud that extends from the base to a distal end. A fastener is coupled to the stud such that the fastener can selectively translate along the longitudinal axis of the stud. A first mating interface is cantilevered away from the top or the base. The top is coupled to the base by placing the through hole down over the stud and permanently capturing the fastener between the first end and the distal end of the stud and aligning the at least one upper arm of the top with the at least one lower arm of the base to capture a bushing.

The central portion separates the left and right portions by a fixed distance. The matching contoured surfaces determine a position of the railing attachment clip on the guardrail, and determine a position of the rail topper on the railing attachment clip. In some embodiments, the central portion is removed after the railing attachment clip is attached to the guardrail, but before the rail topper is attached to the railing attachment clip.

A user can adjust constraints, observe characteristics of the resulting audience, and repeat to develop a desirable audience. In addition, the audience browser may recommend initial constraints and adjustments to constraints, based on advertiser goals and data.

For example, based on information including an actual or anticipated consumer location and a store location, one or more possible or likely consumer travel routes may be determined. Based at least in part on this, metrics, such as convenience-based metrics, can be determined and used in aspects of electronic or online advertising, such as consumer travel distance, travel time, or number or travel proximity of alternative stores.

Abstract: A sink protector is provided that includes a frame defining a frame opening, and a grate supported by the frame. The grate includes a first grate section and a second grate section, each having a perimeter and a plurality of wires extending across each grate section to provide structure for supporting various items to be deposited in a sink. The grate is sufficiently porous to allow the unobstructed passage of water and food particles therethrough. The grate sections are pivotally connected such that at least one of the grate sections pivots about the other grate section to allow unencumbered access to the sink drain.

Abstract: Techniques are provided relating to advertising campaign optimization. Information is obtained relating to online and offline behavior of a set of individuals in association with a brand associated an advertising campaign. Based at least in part on the information, one or more metrics are determined reflecting an association between online advertising and offline behavior relating to the brand, or vice versa. Optimization is performed for at least one parameter of an online advertising campaign or an offline advertising campaign based at least in part on at least one of the one or more metrics. The campaign could also be a combined offline/online campaign.

Abstract: Techniques are provided relating to optimization of an online advertising campaign. Information is obtained relating to online advertising, associated with a brand associated with an online advertising campaign, directed to each of a set of individuals. Information is also obtained relating to offline behavior of the individuals in association with the brand. One or more metrics are determined that are associated with a relationship between the online advertising and the offline behavior. Optimization of at least one parameter of the online advertising campaign is performed based at least in part on at least one of the one or more metrics.

Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide techniques for placing “placeholder” bids in an auction associated with online advertising marketplace. Placeholder bids can include bids that are not actually entered or placed in the auction or marketplace. Rather, placeholder bids can include hypothetical bids. Impacts of placeholder bids, should the placeholder bids have been entered or placed as actual bids, can be assessed. An assessment can include assessing an impact on auction and marketplace parameters, an impact on bid or campaign performance, and an impact on downstream parameters such as user behavior, such as associated conversions or purchasing.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods are provided for efficient collection and identification of program information contained in a plurality of multimedia transport streams. Requests for program information are matched against incoming program information as they are received from the incoming multimedia transport streams. The processing of the requests and the collection of program information are done asynchronously and simultaneously. This enables processing of program information from forty or more MPEG transport streams in such a way that their collection rate is reduced from several minutes to less than one second.
