Abstract: A stud installation tool includes a thrust bearing mounted within an annular housing so that the bearing may be brought in contact with a wheel hub plate and fitted around a stud which is to be drawn into the plate. Lug nuts for the stud may be tightened against the tool thereby eliminating the necessity for special sizes and styles of stud nuts.

Abstract: A tool useful for engaging and pivoting the rocker arm of an internal combustion engine in order to enable removal of a push rod from the engine by virtue of positioning the rocker arm in a manner that disengages the rocker arm from the push rod includes a pair of bifurcated arms which fit on opposite sides of the rocker arm and further includes cross members connecting the bifurcated arms which engage the rocker arm in a manner that facilitates manual rotation of the tool and the rocker arm.

Abstract: A seal pulling tool includes an elongate shaft extending from a manual grip handle. The shaft is bent and includes a seal gripping hook at its outer end and an adjustable fulcrum support post slidably mounted and laterally projecting from the shaft intermediate the handle and hook.

Abstract: A tool storage tray assembly includes a bracket assembly enabling attachment of the tray assembly to a hoist arm of a vehicle hoist at the upper end of a depending vertical tube of the tray assembly. A separate tray bracket attached to a tray is slidably mounted on the lower end of the tube. The tray bracket enables vertical movement of the tray along the length of the tube and rotation of the tray about the axis of the tube. Thus, the tray is adjustable vertically as well as about the axis of the vertical tube or shaft.

Abstract: A tool for removal of U-shaped brake spring or clip associated with a drum brake assembly, includes a foot, which will engage against one leg of the brake spring, and a side arm, which will engage against said leg of the clip or spring, and which will thereby upon pivotal motion of the tool, effect compression of the spring to permit removal thereof from a retention pin.

Abstract: A tool for spreading dual piston brake pads and for compressing the dual pistons of a dual piston disc brake assembly of the type including a disc brake caliper housing for the pads and pistons. The tool includes manually operated handles which drive a bracket assembly that engages the dual piston disc brake pads. The housing for the tool includes a plate which is engaged against the caliper housing. The plate and bracket assembly are driven in a manner which causes them to become spaced from one another. A mechanical advantage is achieved by utilization of handles with a lever arm extension associated with a pivotal handle.
