  • Patent number: 8556244
Abstract: An adjustable clamp for maintaining two butting panels in an adjoining relationship. A clamping base is composed of a pair of base plates connected at each end with a scissor hinge allowing the plates to be secured at angles of from 0° to greater than 90° to one another. Clamp members are provided on each of the base plates for clamping panels in the desired butting relationship for gluing or otherwise joining the butting panels along their butting edges.

  • Patent number: 6318712
Abstract: A clamp for maintaining two butting segments in an adjoining relationship. First and second outer clamp members are adjustably secured to an angle inner clamp member. The spacing between the outer clamp members and the inner clamp members can be adjusted, and an operating element is provided for each outer clamp member for clamping purposes. An access aperture is located in the inner clamp member to permit access to the juncture between the two butting segments.

  • Patent number: 5036602
Abstract: A dryer for extracting moisture from goods and recirculating at least a portion of the air withdrawn from a tumbler cylinder located within the dryer. The dryer includes an air distribution system for supplying heated air to the tumbler cylinder, withdrawing air from the cylinder, and recirculating at least a portion of the air withdrawn from the cylinder. The air distribution system includes a burner tube and a heating passageway disposed about a portion of the burner tube, the passageway being connected for directing recirculated air about the burner tube to heat the recirculated air. The air circulating system also includes an air flow tube concentric with a portion of the burner tube for directing ambient air about the burner tube for cooling the burner tube.

  • Patent number: 4964228
Abstract: A dryer door mechanism for the opening, closing and sealing of an opening to a dryer enclosure. The door mechanism has a movable door in rolling engagement with a pair of tracks affixed to a door frame. The tracks of the door frame are angularly disposed from both the plane of the enclosure opening and the plane of the movable door. The movable door, while rolling along its track, simultaneously moves perpendicular and parallel to the plane of the enclosure opening. When moved to the closed position, the movable door becomes wedged against the enclosure opening thereby providing a force perpendicular to the opening of the enclosure for creating an airtight seal.

  • Patent number: 4509275
Abstract: A dryer for extracting moisture from wet goods, such as linens, of the type having a tumbler cylinder, an open side of the cylinder through which goods are inserted and removed, and a shell in which the cylinder is housed. The dryer has an external support frame including a portion extending above the shell. The shell is hingedly supported at its top to the support frame and is pivotable about the hinge to permit goods to be removed from the cylinder directly beneath the shell. A door is included for closing the open side of the tumbler cylinder and has a lower door segment which is fixed to the support frame and an upper door segment which is attached to the shell for shifting across the face of the shell to open and close an upper portion thereof.
