  • Patent number: 9866501
Abstract: Enabling communication between real and simulated elements of a process control system. Software instructions stored in a memory device are executed by a processor to represent a virtual switch. The virtual switch connects to a real element of a process control system and to a simulated element of a process control system. The virtual switch receives communication from the real element intended for the simulated element and forwards the communication to the proper simulated element. The virtual switch receives communication from the simulated element intended for the real element and forwards the communication to the proper real element.

  • Publication number: 20080263979
Abstract: The interlocking interior trim is a modular baseboard system that may be installed without using additional specialized tools or materials. The baseboard sections are stackable, and will connect to each other before being secured to the wall. The interlocking trim can be used around the walls of a room or along a staircase. When used along a staircase, the sections are cut at an angle to allow the system to run parallel to the slope of the stairs.

  • Patent number: 6641304
Abstract: A hose for carrying liquid, such as hot melt adhesive, within a predetermined elevated temperature range. The hose includes a tube or body portion which has an inlet end adapted to connect to a source of liquid, such as a supply tank, and a discharge end adapted to a connect to a liquid dispensing apparatus, such as an adhesive dispensing gun. At least two temperature sensing devices, each having an output end, are also operatively associated with the tube to sense the temperature of the liquid therein. An adapter has a first end selectively connected to the output end of the first temperature sensing device. The adapter also has a second end adapted to connect to a controller which is compatible with the first temperature sensing device and not the second temperature sensing device. With the first temperature sensing device connected to the adapter, it is operative to sense the temperature of the liquid in the tube.
